Like, we have high lever players spending their own free time organising games to teach new players, we fund entire teams by ourselves to go to lans, we organize everything, streaming matches, a professional tier casting despite pulling nowhere near the numbers and money other games do, we even consult valve on what to do WITH THEIR OWN GAME because they don't really seem so smart. Our community is godlike, and I actually think we literally could not have done anything better. We gave our best.

We've been working towards it last 7 years mate. Turns out naive dreams like yours don't work well in reality. Sorry, but "when that era will come depends entirely on the top level player base and their attitude towards the game" is the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard. The only things that will ACTUALLY grow tf2 are outside our reach and power, sorry.

Because to two shot a soldier you need to be very close to him, and he will see you coming and shoot you once with small dmg rocket and second one kills you and you lose. You chip him away from that "perfect" distance and then move in, not just w+m1 straight away cuz you'll die. The only time scout two shots a soldier is when he catches him by suprise, and even then you are usually left with just 25hp from that one rocket you ate to get cleaned up. I know it's just a complex "you shouldn't be able to do that" argument, but that's how this game works. If you couldn't use that argument then i guess sniper is the shittiest class in game because everything two shots him

This season was pretty awful. Dany burning lannisters and the army of the dead while riding on a dragon while in love with jon was literally a meme to laugh at people who thought got is a fairy tale with happy ending. Well, guess what, it's true. Sad that such a great show ended up like this.

And I'm not even counting this completely absurd suicide mission to send your leaders to capture an undead to show it to cersei. Or Varys being completely useless and having no information for Dany at all ever. Or Arya fighting a woman three times her size with a 2 inch sword and somehow being equal. Or littlefinger not doing anything for entire season and having no real plan until the last two episodes.
