turtsmcgurtslarge animal fights have been set up since the 1800s, the bear almost always win. large cats can't do anything to it because of its thick hide, not to mention one swipe from the bear is likely a KO. the gorilla is 300-700 less pounds than the bear. this question typically comes in the form of gorilla vs grizzly, not polar though. my info might not be accurate in this case.
edit: not to mention gorillas aren't fighters. they rely on looking big to scare away predators. bears are known to fight and kill much much more.
Shit bears fight: fish, old fauna, berries.

Explanation:
Doesn't matter that the gorilla is more intelligent, the polar bear has the predator instinct needed to rip that gorilla apart in under half a minute. And regarding to a post above, gorrila's try to intimidate their opponents, where as polar bears just jump at their victims without a second thought.
Other than polar bears being ambush predators and most bears actually just being scavengers, you'd have a point. Walruses fighting polar bears is hilarious. I remember seeing a video of some 5'2" 140 pound dude chasing a polar bear with a 2x4. The polar bear was scared shitless.
Gorillas, however, aren't preyed upon except in old age, sickness and their very, very young days. They deal with leopards, refined ambush predators designed to take down large prey, on the reg. Not to mention how fast a polar bear would overheat in conditions a gorilla freeze to death.

Polar bears overheat in barely any weather. Gorillas are strong as fuck, and have fucking THUMBS.
Thumbs+superior lift power due to body structure=fucking up a goddamn bear.
