Is there a way to get better admins or punish for juvenile acts like this? It's off putting for people that aspire to be able to play in higher level pugs.

I recommend not getting from ibuypower. A friend ordered one from there and it took almost 2 months before he got his rig.
I think it's map and situation specific. Do what works best for your team!
Blacks and Reds are going to be the quietest. Don't get blacks; they are a pile of poop. The Razer keyboard is blacks. Black keys are a little bit heavier then Reds so they make your hands tire out faster.
Blacks and Reds are linear switches so they don't offer tactile feedback or a sound response. This is considered ideal for gaming (I'd argue here that Browns are better because of that tactile feedback). They are still louder then Rubber domes be quite a bit since you will probably bottom out your keyboard to press a key.
Browns are a little bit quieter then Blues but not enough to quell the problem you're having. If you have disposable income I'd recommend Topre keyboards (Happy Hacking or Realforce Keyboards). They don't use mechanical switches but use capacitive switches and are significantly quieter and offer the ease and enjoyment that a mechanical keyboard does.
For the lag, make sure you aren't using wireless. I had to go wireless for a month and was getting 300+ ping lag spikes. You could try resetting and checking if the firmware on your modem/router is up to date. Heck, sometimes just power cycling your router does the trick.
tranchemusicIs it actually possible to get a modmic right now? Version 2 seems to still be preorder only, and version 1 isn't available anymore (at least not directly from AntLion)
My wait was about a month and a half and I just used my webcam mic in the meantime. It's worth the wait for one of these though. They do a really good job with quality control and you can't really fault them for being slow.
If money isn't an issue just get the zalman for the time being and then order the modmic. It's never a bad idea to have a backup mic anyway.
Who cares if it's "not much"? It's someone trying to support our community and help us grow! Sadly, the season has already started for ESEA so it might be tough to find a team for this season but you never know. I wish you all the luck and thank you for going out of your way to help a team.
Fun guys to play against. Wish you the best!
May sound silly but put post-its of notes and positive words on your monitor.
I don't really care how many viewers someone has. I'd rather just find the person who's stream I enjoy watching and click on them.
We had the same issues. I was rubber banding like crazy and it was really bad. I was slow on almost all of my rollouts and so was our roamer. I was hoping for a cleaner first match. I hope that something can be done about this soon!
smakersThey feel like crap compared to a Filco. I don't believe for a second that they're even remotely similar, much less identical.
It's been confirmed that the components used to make both are the same.
You don't need to get a new case unless you found it your system getting too hot.
If I were you I'd get a new PSU. A PSU with 550W is kind of low for a lot of today's rigs and it's not something you should really skimp out on.
