eulogy_i used the wmo for like 5 years and then went to the 3.0 for nearly a year (thanks to disengage for sending it to me when my wmo was failing me).
zowie am is what i moved to recently. It is a tad smaller and lighter than i thought it would be but id easily recommend it as something to make the swap to. Only issue i have with it is the ambidextrous m4 and m5.
Do you find yourself hitting the buttons on the other side a lot? Would you have rather gone with an ec1 instead?
AD900's (and AD700's if you're on a budget) are great but if there's any ambient sound around you then you'll hear everything else around you with them on. Open cans to bleed sound a lot so your neighbors will also be able to hear what you are listening to.
I don't think you can on sv_pure 2 servers until Valve fixes it (which they probably won't ever do).
Some good brands are Leopold, Das Keyboard, Filco, CM Storm (kinda meh imho), and Ducky.
If you have access to the router then you can just set your machine to have priority on bandwidth.
I can't get DXtory to work with OBS without crazy stuttering in my stream. I just run OBS 64 bit and capture my desktop and it works really well. I get almost the same FPS in game with it running as without. If you really want to use DXtory you probably have to use XSplit.

Zowie makes great mice. I've got the EC2 eVo and love it, though it's meant for a claw grip. If you're looking for something similar to a WMO then try the AM or EC1 eVo.
I can never seem to get that shutter wall jump in the beginning. Do you just do a late jump or something? I always have to do the pillar and that eats up a second or two.
About getting a case, if you do get one, get Otter Box. I find it silly that people buy shitty cases that don't protect their phones. If you're worried about bulk Otter Box offers a commuter case (instead of defender). My Droid Razr has survived many a drop with it.
Ranga is right. It does inhibit some forms of cancer but there is no way to get the concentration high enough in the cells to effectively do that. It's just some stupid gimmic that's been around for a while.
