The keyboard has a pretty bad reputation for quality assurance from its reviews but I dunno this is too cheap to pass up for me anyway. Comes with a free paperweight processor btw.
I haven't had a crash for 2 days now so I got my fingers crossed hoping this problem is magically fixed for no reason.
i might use this just because messing around with crosshairs after updates can be a bit tedious.
LightningIs FOV and sensitivity directly correlated? Do I need to use 90 FOV in Quake in order to match TF2 sens?
FOV has nothing to do with sensitivity in any game.
I'm more interested in how to match TF2 accel with Quake accel.
flippershappened to me then i got an updated hud, so for me it was a hud problem, but its a game crash so it could be a variety of different things.
I'm on garmen's latest hud
I'm getting sudden random crashes to desktop with no errors. My cousin is having the same problem. They aren't very often but are still annoying.
I'm on DX8 with chris's max frames.
SolidSpeerlaiyeI'm just gonna ask here before I open a new thread. Is this fixed yet? I don't play with the maxframes config anymore so I can't test it myself.
It works. I think you're supposed to use both filtertextures and filterlightmaps if want to turn them on or off.
defianceDrewThe players on the chicago server probably haven't even seen competitive tf2 before. this is pretty discouraging.have you played in the extv server before?
Really good players hop on extv's servers regularly. The players I saw last night on fog's servers were literally complaining about jarate being blocked.

I played during the beta, it was a pretty good game. I'd play with a couple people occasionally if I could.
Just look up tutorials for your processor, but don't shoot for the higher overclock that the tutorial will suggest straight away. Try somewhere half way and work your way up until you can't boot into Windows anymore. Back it down, boot into Windows, and stress test. Keep backing it down until stress tests don't fail or cause BSOD's.
Digital audio converter. You can think of it as an external sound card.
You should try stress testing prime95 over night. Make sure it can actually last 30 minutes so you don't waste you're time.
Wonderwall only used shotgun on last. I watched a bunch of his demos. And as I see it, the only thing that shotgun does is help you hold flank on some maps.
SizzlingCalamarienorythttp://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-306.97-whql-driver.htmlThose are pretty old. Did you give the most recent WHQL driver a try? 310.70
This is the driver I tried originally

edit: those are beta, not whql, whoops. try them anyways i guess
I wouldn't try them, 310.61 caused graphical glitches in DX8 TF2 for me. Other games were fine though.
Try pingplotter to trace routing and ping to whatever servers you're trying to play on. It'll show any servers that produce jitter or high pings.
