The first two rounds of matches have been scheduled for Saturday, and start at 4. Saturday will be 4 rounds of swiss, with each match played as one half on each of two maps (ties are allowed).

Sunday will be a double elim bracket of the top 4 teams in each division, which will play over 4 matches. Each match will be played as two halves on a single map, in the same style as regular season matches. The map selection process for Sunday will be as follows, where Team A is the team with a higher position in the bracket:
Team A bans
Team B bans
Team A picks
In the case of a golden cap, the match will be played to a round win or 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the team with control of mid wins the match.

RGL 6s Season 2 will officially begin on January 7th. Registration will be opening shortly and will close on January 3rd. Not all details for Season 2 are ready for release yet, and survey results are still being processed. More update articles can be expected in the following weeks regarding changes from season 1, so stay tuned for more news.

Alongside the announcement of Season 2, We would also like to announce the Fall 2019 Map Cup being run on December 14th and 15th.

• Registration is open now and closes December 13th
  
• Saturday will be group stages in divisions of 4 to 8 teams, followed by a bracket for each division Sunday
  
• Matches will run roughly 4pm to 8pm each day (3 - 4 matches)
  
• Two maps will be played per match, with one half for each map (ETF2L style)

Are you connected with both wifi and ethernet? When I played on my laptop for a while in college I'd run into that issue if I forgot to turn off wifi.

Most times I start tf2, most of the sounds don't work. I don't have voice lines, the announcer, hurt sounds, etc. I still have gun sounds for the most part. I get these errors in console continuously: https://push.dubthink.com/2019/09/hl2_2019-09-04_23-22-33.png I've been having this problem since I switched back to my desktop this summer. Occasionally when I start my game it's fine, but it's fine less and less often.

Things I've tried that haven't worked:
> snd_restart
> deleting all .cache files and cache folders in the tf directory
> validating game files through steam
I also tried reinstalling tf2, which fixed it for like a week, but it's an issue again.

Short of reinstalling windows, I'm not sure what to do at this point. Has anyone had this issue before or have ideas to fix it?

The medals just went out. We're using the same model as RGB 1, as shown on the wiki. You should receive your medals when you relaunch your game, if not before, though sometimes it takes a sec for stuff to come through. Add me on steam or message me on discord if you didn't receive your medal.

I'll be distributing medals early this week. I believe I have everyone's steamids from logs and stuff, but if you were on an alt account and want the medal on your main or something, add me or message me on discord so I can fix it.

Antlers, Sherwood, and Doom are all really solid gamers and are fun to play with every time I ring for or pugscrim with them. I don't really know bane well but I've seen good things. Overall a great team to play with and definitely worth a tryout.

Azion's been a great opponent/teammate/person for as long as I've known him. He's dependable, his dm is good, he doesn't tilt much at all, and he'll take things seriously and pound when you need him to. Absolutely worth trying out and picking up.
