sky_so I'm gonna get a mechanical keyboard since my A and D keys are basically broken (the membrane caps are torn). What are the differences between switches? I keep hearing about them but I know next to nothing about the subject.
I think it is mainly the force needed to push the keys down and the sound of the keys, don't know much else.

Oblivionageno it is not kuni i dont know where you got that information from. No game uses more than 4 cores dude and intel's cpus easily performs better in said games as well as benchmarks.
I watched a video actually comparing the 2 processors, and while streaming the AMD outperformed the intel, but all of the high quality pc gaming streams use intel, and everyone else recommeneds intel. Which would be better for games like Titanfall, CS:GO, and TF2?

sky_If it's a new rig, might as well just get the haswell 4th gen. Haswell uses a different socket type than Ivy/sandy bridge with similar specs so that's why a lot of people aren't upgrading to one, but if you're getting a new motherboard anyway might as well go for it imo.
You can probably get win7 off reddit or something cheaper or so I've heard. Or see if your university or your friends' universities offer free win7. I know my school does that.
If you're gonna spend like $200 on a monitor, might as well go for a 120-144hz imo. Unless you really want a 27" one.
