S9 - Seven Gram Rocks ESEA-O (Medic)
S11 - From Downtown ESEA-O (Medic)
S11 - Trees Fortress 2 ESEA-O (Backup)
S12 - Gettin' Jiggy With It ESEA-IM (Medic, 5-11)
S13 - Pwr Rangers ESEA-IM (Medic, 2 games before getting cut)
S14 - harOzone ESEA-O (Roamer, 11-5 regular season, 1-2 playoffs)

S15 - Quantum Flux ESEA-O (Backup)
Past Seasons Experience (HL):

The bolded stuff indicates full seasons played. The rest of the stuff is either a game or two played or not really of note for experience.
Anyways I'm rather bored at the moment, and after getting a new gaming rig I felt it was time to create another looking thread. I'm probably selling myself short here, but I feel that it's better for me to work myself back up from the bottom instead of latching onto teams way above my skill level. I'll play either CEVO, UGC, or ESEA, I don't care.

EDIT: nvm I'm bad
mpbFogElenaMorningI knew #tf2mix was thinking about moving, but didn't know how committed they were to QuakeNet.This pretty much sums up my reasoning for the switch to GeeksIRC.
I have no desire to divide the community. However, I wonder if dividing the North American 6s and Highlander communities isn't worse than dividing the European and North American 6s communities.
Elena, thanks for the writeup, it is the only one that makes sense to me so far on switching away from gamesurge. I hope geeksirc works out well for tf2pugnahl.
Fog, I don't understand your reasoning based on the quoted text. Could you please explain?
Splitting up the NA 6s and HL pug scenes from one another would be devastating for the future growth of the game. It's all nice and dandy of having a unified IRC network for EU and NA, but fracturing the NA pug communities of HL and 6s does not make it worth it to attempt to have a unified EU and NA IRC network.

The switch has now been completed!
If you need any assistance with stats and auth accounts, just send me a message on the channel or on steam
The switch over will be happening shortly, just waiting for one last final pug to finish up in the Gamesurge channel
BdonskiUnrelated to the IRC change but:
nominate doesn't work
revote doesn't work
map rotation is outdated (remove warmfront and ashville, update snakewater to final1)
using #1-9 for voting consistently makes people misvote trying to change weapons
edit: 2/3 of the servers are chicago despite dallas providing fairer pings
1 and 2)I had not received any reports to these issues prior to this post.
3) Snakewater was just made official a few days ago, and I'll update the rotation shortly. As for warmfront/ashville, people still like to play those maps (the rotation isn't strictly ESEA maps only)
4) What other buttons can be used in place of the numbers?
5) "Fairer pings" is subjective to location of the user. Also those are the servers that were provided to us from our sponsor. Unless we're able to get another server from them, we're sticking with the current server setup
Alright guys, the official move date is TOMORROW. Please be sure to register yourself HERE: http://geeksirc.net/nickserv-registration/
As stated in the original post, for the most seamless transitions of stats use the same name as used for your AuthServ account name that you use on Gamesurge. Otherwise I'll have to manually change it in the database.
To clarify on what the issue is/was, whenever TFTrue updates, it makes the server restart. Apparently when it does the restart, it fucks up the SOAP DM spawns. So I just have to manually restart the servers and the issue will be fixed. I'll have to talk to Anakin about this
hookyIs #tf2mix also moving?
I'm not responsible for #tf2mix, so it's on them
atmoWhy not Quakenet? It provides ip masking, has servers worldwide, has a webchat, and also has all of the EU channels for leagues, teams, picksups, and broadcasters.
There was talks with cinq and the people at Quakenet, a while back but there was no real progress for months. Along with the other channels already making their move over to GeeksIRC, it made the decision much easier
