BuildBruhtotal shot in the dark but it might effect initial load if it scanned the whole /tf folder, ive personally never heard anything about demos/files effecting live perf tho
yeah I figured it would only affect load times as well, but TF2 is so notoriously broken at this point that I wouldn’t be surprised if having a loaded tf folder made your fps take a nosedive

supposedly having lots of demos in your /tf folder makes ur game run slower?

RGL recently implemented a fix to the deathcam bug that tracked your killer through walls leading to additional and unfair info gained (a good change). Additionally they plan to survey future competitive fixes going forward.

going forward here are the changes that I am currently advocating for and that i HIGHLY SUGGEST you vote to be implemented when the survey comes out
sm_projectiles_ignore_teammates 1 - projectiles not being blocked by teammates is a no-brainer to me, and in my opinion the game should behave like this by default. RGL should have implemented this as soon as it was released.
sm_override_pipe_size 4.0 - this is the one that reduces the iron bomber hit box to a 4x4x4 cube instead of the unintended 8.7x8.7x8.7 cube that it has by default. This fix was very clearly popular as evidenced by the recent threads regarding the iron bomber, and RGL should have implemented it for this season as well.
