i tested it on a singleplayer server and i went from unstable ~200fps staring at the floor to consistent 290-310fps also staring at the floor. worked great for me, thanks!

lack of placement matches is absolutely infuriating for a mediocre player like me, when I win they abandon when I lose everyone stays, so I've almost given up on mm entirely.
my biggest problem with the beta was the lack of people in their proper ranks, but I expected that to be fixed upon release but the only changes I can see are 1. the matching system actually works and 2. it has a shiny new UI, but ragdolls / blood / decals / phong are all still locked, and the tfteam's reasoning behind that is just dumb.
over all my game feels a bit smoother but I'm dropping down to 20 frames in firefights which is frustrating. i would probably enjoy this update more if the commands weren't restricted and if there were placement matches, but so far this update has been a pretty big disappointment. i hope that the heavy vs pyro update will be (edit): better, 'good' implies that this update wasnt good, it was alright imo but in regards to my expectations it didn't quite deliver

pretty impressive that they did this almost directly after day 1, really awesome and I hope we can see more stuff like this. super excited for whatever update is next, loving this one so far! only thing that could make it better imo would be some better balancing (scout buff why?) and maybe contracts, those are pretty fun for me atleast.
the medic and pyro changes are totally going to screw the ronin v froyo match

True. It should however be balanced in a way to make the Pyro a higher DPS class close-quarter combat/assault class. Otherwise it would make the class useless.
[edit] To the people downvoting me: How would you rebalance Pyro? Taking something away without giving something else in exchange is hardly sensible.
In regards to your edit:
- Reduce the power of air blast, make the knock to a player similar to that of a sticky or rocket. Make it so subsequent air blasts have a weaker effect on players. So you can spam your air blast on projectiles just not players.
- Remove crits on the flair guns.
- The length of after burn is too long.
- Backburner doesn't need crits from behind. Mini would be suffice and still give the weapon an advantage, think of it as a back scatter but for the pyro.
- Degreaser should go back to its speedy self but have a more highly nerfed air blast.
- Phlog needs mini crits instead of crits, and an overheal instead of uber.

- Scorch shot crits you twice if you are already on fire. It shouldn't crit burning players at all with it being so hard to miss with.
- Reserve Shooter needs to go back to 3 shots. Straight up nerf.
- Power jack should make you take proper minicrits like GRU.
tl;dr: Downvote me anyway.
but back scatter sucks and pyro is already pretty squishy against better players, we want a rework not a nerf into the ground
really sad and anticlimactic after waiting through that whole pause, but it was really intense and close while it was live. inT doesnt rematch ronin til about a month from now, really looking forward to that. gg from both teams, excited for inT vs froyo tomorrow.
