Dangerous Dave was (still is) one of the best games I've ever played.

#87 BOOST FPS WITH THIS ONE SIMPLE TRICK in TF2 General Discussion
eliI added these to my existing launch options and the issue seems to be fixed for me.

+mat_picmip 2 +r_rootlod 2 +mat_reducefillrate 1 +r_waterforceexpensive 0 +r_waterforcereflectentities 0 +r_shadowrendertotexture 0 +mat_trilinear 0 (lowest settings)

I thought these commands were useless?

What's the difference between putting these in launch options and just having the standard commands in cfg?

#2296 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization
_KermitHatimHatimIn m0refont, the overhealed HP has two shadows alongside the original health, one has the black color at all times and there's the blue blinking shadow between those two, how do I make a similar one for low HP so when my health is low is has a red shadow alongside it?

I could take a picture if you don't catch my drift.

It's just a hud animation, there'll be healthshadow1 and healthshadow2, then you just animate them in hudhealthdyingpulse. Just copy the shit from the bonuspulse and paste it into dyingpulse and change the colours to red and the name of the animation obv.

so I found this in hudanimations_tf.txt

http://puu.sh/m1SLL/d08fa2492c.png

It's already there and looks similar to the hudhealthbonuspulse, I'm not sure what to do next though, never messed with HudAnimations_tf before.

This is the only different text hudhealthdyingpulse doesn't have:

#7 occasional ping spikes in Q/A Help
namassinHatimWhen did this start?
What kind of router do you have?
Did you try to turn on QoS for your pc?

Do you use wireless or ethernet cable? if the former, use ethernet cable, if not possible, get a wifi booster/repeater (don't know which is best)

If you use Ethernet and still has ping spikes turn off wireless connection and/or close programs or torrents that eat up your bandwidth.

It's important to note that boosters/extenders will slow down connection speeds. Also extenders tend to be fairly expensive. It's much better just to drill a hole in your wall and route a Ethernet cable through it.

Yeah that's why I said use Ethernet cable if possible, I don't know if he uses desktop or laptop so if his router is on a floor and desktop is on another it's not easy to make space for the cable so his last resort would be wifi boosters/extenders.
However if he has a laptop definitely go with the ethernet cable, way better transmission.

fade-when health is low, can you make the bottom part of the hp number orange? or is there some really simple way of doing this that I don't know of? kind of like how it's blue when overhealedt

Seconding this, where excatly do I change the low HP shadow? I can see HUDDeathWarning on the top in hudplayerhealth.res but I changed everything and I can't seem to change the low hp shadow, any help?

#4 Performance issues whit tf2 in Q/A Help

I don't want to be the advertisement guy but you might find something that'll help in my guide http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=483257164

your PC isn't that bad but it's not that good as said above, you might want to a better cpu (make sure it fits your motherboard however)
