Ever since I've moved to school with my computer, I've been experiencing miserable framerate drops in both tf2 and overwatch. In overwatch I was getting 50ish fps on average during this last time that I was playing and numbers were dipping down frequently into the 20s. TF2 was also rather bad with an fps config, with frequent dips below the 50s, I'd estimate that I usually get 80fps or so on average. Also, my mouse seems to be acting up as well. Had one or 2 times during gameplay where the sensor would just lose track of movements and seemingly skip inputs.
Is it just time for me to upgrade, or is there something that I can possibly do to diagnose what may be the problem?
PC Specs
- AMD A10 6800K APU (I plan on upgrading this eventually but I don't think I've ever had framerate drops this bad)
- Radeon R9 390 OC edition
- 16gb of RAM
- 650W Corsair Power Supply that I had just installed last month
- Razer Deathadder Chroma
- Some HP 60hz monitor @ 1280 x 720 Resolution
Any help would be much appreciated
