cage-SpaceCadetGosu rankings are pretty useless at all times. Also NRG doesn't really have a set roster rn so it's hard to tellSuper-dominating north america
Are you guys better than NRG?
Are these rankings silly or legit?
They're revamping the roster and from the little information that's out there, the new roster is looking to be really good. Seagull, Numlocked, and Dummy are confirmed remaining with them. Dummy has also mentioned other good tryouts that they've had on stream but I'd wait for an official statement before jumping on who is actually joining the team
So oddly enough, the frame drops that make games unplayable have gone away for the most part. Haven't even opened up my pc to see if dust was a factor. However, In my task manager, I see that my L1 cache value is significantly lower than my L2 cache value (192 KB for L1 and 4 MB for L2).
Could this be the problem? Or is it just my cpu is very bad? In my resource monitor, all cores appear to be under 100% load when in game. Even now as I'm typing this I have soundcloud music playing in chrome while playing tf2 alongside an fps counter I'm not getting a ton of major frame drops. Any insight/help is much appreciated
Ieewhat makes someone qualified to be a tftv editor
turbotabs put up a thread some time back and after putting in an application and providing some other info, I and some others got accepted
LunacideKonceptsmh the tftv writers were already working on an official report on this
how long does it take to write two paragraphs
it doesn't take that long to write it tbh but the fact that we don't have that many editors to look over and approve submitted stuff is why articles aren't getting published as fast
like I wrote my legalize ranch article in a little under half an hour (given it was my first one alongside a few other factors) but my next one that's coming out took me about the same amount of time, probably a bit less. Also that's not necessarily taking into account revisions and edits

Vanguard always did feel a bit odd to me. My first exposure to it as a competitive map was when it was put into the HL map rotation, so having to basically play it a different way than what it was imagined to be by the creator (a 6v6 map) kind of had me dismiss it once I had my run playing it.
I'd certainly be willing to try it in a 6v6 setting, but I still do associate vanguard with 5cp HL, which isn't always the most fun at times to play. With enough playtesting and feedback it could certainly become a good 6v6 map, but 5cp HL at its core feels a bit too chaotic (although in saying that I only speak for my opinion) and depending on the map the level of chaos can fluxuate
Also thank you for all the work you've done on product and best of luck to you in the future if your career ends up having some roots in tf2 mapmaking. If not, still good luck in your job hunting!!
when I had it on for some time, my mouse (deathadder chroma) would consistently stop tracking for about half a second every 3 or 4 seconds on a razer goliathus control pad
as far as razer synapse itself I haven't had any problems with it although there are people that will claim that software causes a tiny bit of input lag. I've been pleased with it and I'm going on 4 years of using it
SpaceCadetrocketslaySpaceCadetI really wish Trump was into this stuff.i feel like we're screwed no matter what if an asteroid of any considerable size decides to mosey on down to planet earth
Everything people worry about would be so small and petty if we were all in real danger.
Well yes. Presently we really have no reliable way to defend the planet. That is why I wish he was more into that field so we could use our money for projects in space
a lot of my engineering friends could get real good jobs from research and work in that field :D
>Reddit is probably the worst source for feedback
gee, as if there's another source that's giving good, detailed feedback that the TF2 team can use
hell, I'm pretty sure if some invite teams were rounded up and asked to test a valve beta map they'd gladly do it. There'd be more time for the team to fix bugs and whatnot
