Kylo_renTsarbucksaieraI recommend a rotation of process, badlands, granary, snakewater, metalworks, viaduct, sunshine and gullywash
Only if they switch viaduct into product
Valve will never use community variations of their maps
That's only if they take the changes from product and apply it to valve viaduct
Honestly people making trips out to valve wouldn't be necessary to discuss things for the future of tf2 if we got a lot more direct contact with the developers. I mean I understand that they want to figure things out themselves but time is a thing that the highest skilled and most dedicated players do not have much of anymore.
Also it shouldn't take that much effort to send an email to the dota team asking for a little bit of help on simply where to start but that's a little more of a controversial action if it were to be taken.
In all seriousness, isn't trying to bribe your opponent into a ffl against esea rules or something? I know it's incredibly stupid for someone to even consider it in the first place but is it not a bannable offense?

stumbled upon this while trying to find some new music for a soundcloud playlist
fxfxfxfxI'm just trying to edit the y positioning of the healing target... I have no idea what to edit.

try messing with those fields within hudlayout.res
Also as far as a collection of stuff from what different hud things do, I personally have done one of 3 things:
Has your life improved since you quit?
Sort of. College classes have been keeping me very busy but the little free time that I have can't (and won't unfortunately) be spent entirely on tf2. Thankfully my roommates adopted a puppy so whenever I have time I try and play with him a little bit. His name is Wizard but I call him Wizzy because of the similarity to the smash player Wizzrobe, who also goes by the nickname "Wizzy".
Do you get bored enough to feel the urge to come back to TF2 often, or are you satisfied enough with where you are (or dissatisfied enough with TF2 when you left) to not even consider it?
For some reason I've gotten a weird itch for working on huds. Even before I had to stop playing I tried maintaining my own edit of another hud but I just didn't like it after a while. I do really want to maintain a hud in the future though, but I'm unsure of what I'd want to maintain. It'd probably be something that Hypnotize has already updated so the poor guy doesn't have to go about updating 20+ huds when a major update comes out. That being said I've really enjoyed what it has taught me and considering I'm looking into a telecommunications degree, having some knowledge of ui design could really help me land a cool job in the future.
Did you have some other, non-videogame hobby to spend your time on, or did you exit into the world with no clear plans for what to do next?
Last year I didn't really have much to do outside of a few things such as ultimate Frisbee and weightlifting. I'm a big guy with not the best knees so running a lot was a bit of a struggle for me. I also didn't have enough inspiration to go to the gym everyday so that basically left me with a lot of free time and outside of homework and not a lot of inspiration to do much else.
However now that I'm at the main campus within my college I have a lot more things to do, such as going to college football games on the weekends and going to parties within my apartment complex that I'm in. But even with those things I'm still a decently quiet guy irl. I enjoy time to myself but complete isolation is utterly awful.
What was the main reason that you decided to quit TF2?
The fact that I had to pull really good grades this semester to stay at my university, and something odd has happened with my computer that it can't/won't recognize when an Ethernet jack is connected. I'm going to try a new cable to see if that's the issue since I've been doing at least 5 different things with no success.
And while it wasn't close to the reason why I decided to stop playing, looking back I realize that I've pretty much been on mediocre teams my entire time playing competitively. Without a doubt the best team that I was on was a team that I got cut from halfway during the season, and I completely understand their decision for it. I was getting shit frames and was having a very tough time dealing with the switch from 60+ frames to ~30 frames. There was just so much that was getting changed for me that I was consistently struggling with confidence in myself.
Also depression was a frequent visitor but given that I was at a tiny college campus where half of the people that lived there regularly left on the weekends made it hard to find inspiration to keep going a lot of the time. Hopefully if I can get the connection issues fixed soon, I can maybe play again, but I'd probably focus a lot on overwatch. My school has its own overwatch team and I think it'd be super cool to at least play a little to get a taste of what something different is like. But with that being said I'd really like to go to the eSports Arena LAN in January of next year to get a true tf2 LAN experience. I've also never gotten to play on a 144hz monitor so that would be really cool to experience. Also I could possibly meet some new friends while I'm there, so it would be super sick regardless.
And, of course, why do you browse a forum for a game you no longer play?
I enjoy keeping up with some of the things that are happening, even though it seems like with time more things end up getting messed up with every update. All that I can hope for this game is that the tf team admits that things aren't going as well as they could be, and instead start a direct line of contact to the people that play the game so much.
Chill_ColinsWhat file(s) do I have to edit to readjust my ammo box? Somehow while equipping the cow mangler, my ammo appears in the bottom right corner (like default) instead of in the middle of my screen next to my health.
My hud: http://www.teamfortress.tv/18297/bxhud-cb#bottom
Hypnotize has updated this hud I believe, so if the bxhud that you have is outdated you may want to check his thread to see if just moving to a more current version of it will fix your problems.
But if you're having an issue with an item effect bar showing up as a default bar, your hud probably doesn't have that specific file within your hud files, usually found in resource -> ui, you can grab the file from the default hud files and edit it to work with the rest of your hud
samifacehttps://gamerant.com/the-orange-box-xbox-one-backward-compatible/
The Orange Box also features Team Fortress 2, and while the game received more support on Steam than it ever did on Xbox 360, perhaps its online community will get a shot in the arm now that it is finally playable on a new-gen console.
Unless I can use a mouse and keyboard I think I'll stick to racing games on console
My aunts and uncles on my dad's side have been longtime cubs fan ever since they were kids growing up in Chicago. When my family and I called my godfather who we barely hear of since he travels a lot, he seemed to be the happiest guy on Earth. Hope they win so they can shatter that drought of world series titles
I actually got some contracts today and got stuff from them
no crates however so idk what's happening
HashtagBasedI tried to get the blue theme and the minmode together. This happened. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/242458830521211668/9112A0380D7C7BCD9763D74319E0D2DD53FA5B61/ Looks pretty funny and wonky, but I would really like it to work. Help, anyone?
scripts -> hudlayout.res
change the position of "hudweaponammo" (or hudammoweapons I can't remember which) and you should have success then
fahrenheitWhy would they oust Badlands if they were weighing which maps to get rid of? WHY NOT GRANARY AND METALWORKS?
They did get rid of granary though...metalworks I can definitley understand though
Okay I understand some people want to see payload maps in competitive play but this isn't the way to do it
