I have larger than average hands and a deathadder is just fine for my liking, but the new zowie mouse that's coming out seems to be slightly larger than their older models. I haven't gotten to test it and feel it myself, but considering zowie always makes amazing products they're always a great option
uberchainPass Time.
-snip
I actually forgot that pass time existed entirety
Also holy shit uberchain that argument
holoferneslearn about the differences in switch types
tenkeyless or full?
backlit or nah?
then decide what you want based on cost/reputation/looks etc
a few brands with typically rly good build quality are cm, ducky, leopold, filco and corsair.
This, and look up tons of reviews on many products. WAR has even done a few mechanical keyboard reviews so I'd recommend him for the few items that he's reviewed. Then go onto pretty much any reputable and continue watching reviews of products. You're going to want something that's going to last you a decent while, so do plenty of research. I also do think there's a keyboard thread somewhere so just a simple search can get you what you're looking for pretty handily
M4ngoLlook overwatch is already a bigger esports than tf2 they copied us now we need to copy them ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ). and another thing i want to point out is that if we include more map types it will attract more pub players thus will grow the comptetitive community which cant be a bad thing
First off your lenny face ruins any possibility of someone taking your arguments seriously
Second, OW is a bigger esport than tf2 because blizzard backs OW much more than tf2. Why does LoL have insane prize pots and such? The primary answer is dev support and backing. The most support we've gotten over the past year from valve regarding direct support to the competitive scene was the tf2 wide notification that the esea grand finals were happening. Some might put valve members committing to work with top players with MM and the MM beta over it, but we're definitely not having pro matches casted on national television like CSGO or 6 to 7 digit prize pots for majors like dota.
Third, even if you were to design smaller maps for payload, you wouldn't really be able to balance it between tiny chokes where one defense class would trump basically all of the other classes. Basically the equivalent of a full turtle defense in 6s would be the standard for defense, and offense wouldnt be much more interesting. Like just look at the pros vs YouTubers match on badwater. Although it was really just a big field day for froyo, 6v6 payload should remain an OW exclusive thing. And despite the lolhl memes that exist, pl fits nicely for the 9v9 format that we already have. And at the class composition you'd be looking into with 6v6, there's no good reason to not put 3 more players on each team and just go on with how things have been running for a long time now.
Lastly, more map types would more likely confuse newer competitive players rather than make it easier for them. How is some poor kid who can't even navigate cp steel supposed to comprehend the fact that there's a time limit and a number of points that need to be capped you do pl, much less know what classes are good and bad when hes never tried anything other than spy or sniper. Also, making a temporary influx of lower level players into the competitive scene doesn't ensure its growth by a long shot. What's the point of raising a building and replacing the ground floor with an unstable structure?
Smesiyour whole argument isow has payload therefore 6s must have payloadathough ow and tf2 are quite similar, that still doesn't mean they're the same game, just because it works in ow that doesn't mean it'll work in 6s
Don't try to speculate pipe dreams when the reality of the matter is right in front of your face.
Case closed.
You know you're heading down the wrong path when dishsoap tells you that you're making a bad choice

A better place to ask this question
the prophecy has come true it seems...
So I'm trying to use your cinematic config to capture some moments, but whenever i exec the config (I temporarily have it at the bottom of my autoexec config) and load a demo, it crashes my game.
One thing I have noticed is that my weapon skin doesn't load before the crash happens, if that helps diagnose the problem. Any idea what's causing the crash and what can I doto/remove from the config to make it not crash?
Edit: I found the issue, toggling closed captions was causing the crash
Depression really sucks. I know what you're going through. But just remember there are little things like this that can help cheer you up :)
I remember my first experience was through tf2center. My first lobby went amazing awfully. My screen decided to change resolution going into the game and I had no idea about hud_reloadscheme. From there I tried to get on a team that later died, and then 4 dead teams later, played my first (full) season as HL demo. After bearing through that I decided to go to 6v6 and have loved the gamemode ever since
Ultiduo with some friends are a great way to practice your pocketing and surfing/survival skills.
Also if you're ever without anything to do just practice on improving your crossbow aim. Medieval servers are great for things like this since you won't have to worry about soldiers and scouts as much. Plus your team will think you're a god when you can hit them (or an enemy) at any place as long as you can see them.
Honestly, I really dislike the new(er) reload sound for the stickybomb launcher. I'm probably just so used to the old sound that the new one just doesn't seem to fit like the old one did.
That and the cow mangler reload sound can be pretty annoying as well at times
Edit: also whenever you join a server with ads and the ads are SUPER LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS
Max_mustardoverlordI never got the side of the mouse peoplewhat else would you use? Shift?
every single player I have ever met who didn't comm enough who I got to know well enough to ask told me they used a button on their mouse for comms
I find the mouse easiest because you don't have to take a finger off of an important key with your left hand
I actually have mouse 4 and shift as my push to talk keys. I use left shift more than m4 simply because it's just awkward for me to think of pushing a button on my mouse with my already larger than average hands while in a fight. But voice activation + mute mic toggle are excellent if he can't seem to get the idea of having a push to talk key that's in a convenient location
