#337 Lmaobox premium detected. in TF2 General Discussion
Segnomustardoverlordby the way, just a reminder that it is definitely possible to be a cheater who wasn't caught by this

unless you were a) using lmaobox specifically, and b) using it in a certain window that valve focused on, I'm pretty sure you got off scot free

my little brother uses lmaobox every time he plays tf2 and hasn't been detected yet. I have a feeling it was aimed more towards competitive players.

you should convince him to uninstall it since he's done a stupid enough thing in actually installing it, regardless of how young he may be

HuckdK vlad: because i wanted to see what i could do with it
dK vlad: something to make you instantly better
dK vlad: is like a dream
dK vlad: but
dK vlad: doesnt matter i guess
dK vlad: just gonna play esea then i guess

hey guys if you need a scout you know who to hit up!

Funny thing I actually rang for an open team (either yesterday or the day before) against him before this vac wave was set in motion. Looks like you can't hide from the truth after all.

Edit: found the stats for the game, if anyone's interested

Now if only the next wave could get everyone that downloaded it and has it, regardless of premium status.

#16 Idea for heavy item in TF2 General Discussion

We honestly should be looking to change the current weapons that we have in the game right now, rather than trying to add more things to the game. I feel like these stats would be better as a proposed change to some pre-existing weapon as opposed to the introduction of something new. I love new weapons, but there are just so many out there right now that it just seems like focusing on individual changes right now are the better option

#25 TF2 for dreamhack austin? in LAN Discussion

mfw I have college things due the day of the event ;__;

I would have loved to go knowing that there would be a tf2 event a few hours away from where I live, but I feel like more advertising would and possibly could have certainly made this a much bigger event. I even feel like using the same system that was used for dreamhack in europe through the razer tournaments would have made this more likely to be a major LAN rather than just a "this would have sounded nice"

#17 tf2 has been out longer than the time b/w tfc&tf2 in TF2 General Discussion
nykKonceptLegacyWishlist for tf3:
  • runs on source 2 engine
  • solely competitive build based on 6s
  • hats/weapons/etc are usable in tf2 and tf3
  • game is well optimized for lower end computers (which I guess can go with running on source 2)
Couldn't we just call that an "update"?

Might as well. I intended it to be only a theoretical thought. But seeing the suggestions made by others, it's probably just best for valve to stick to the focus on mm and general performance improvements

matchuinstead of tf3 why not just make tf2 better by not making it run like shit

Imo, this is what tf2 really needs after mm and (more) developer support

#431 b4nny v thalash in TF2 General Discussion
hektikhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6zXryfdNm4

Mixup comms were 100% calling others awful, retarded and idiots... I don't watch many streams, but clockwork often in pugs looks at others plays and put up a perplexed face, with his hands up saying things like "what?? ...I don't understand man, he's so bad" which imo is the equivalent of shouting "idiot!"...

Isn't it that every single competitive person that is of moderate success does this since, like, forever?

I get that b4nny is overly arrogant a lot of times, but I wanted to comment on this specific detail that people seem to really be taking seriously this game banter - why now?

The biggest difference I see is how often we would see "banter" like this. I don't think many mixup guys streamed when they were together (if any at all). I might be wrong about this but my memory hasn't been the best as of late. But the similarity about both of the examples of b4nny and clock are that both of them stream a lot, with b4nny clearly streaming much more than clock does, but the point still holds true: if you were continually called "an idiot" and "a zombie" in front of 300-400+ viewers continuously AND in the top percentage of players in the world skill wise, wouldn't you get tired of being labeled that way?

I have no doubt that in person, both b4nny and clock are really cool guys to hang out and chat with. But if your online figure (which is really your public figure at that stage in time) is based off of calling everyone that's not hot on your heels clearly inferior to you every chance you can get, it says something about you.

While I will agree the first round of insults and shots were uncalled for from both thalash and b4nny, this has been a problem that has slowly been building up. A lot of people would say that the arrogance that b4nny shows at times against others is what sticks, because humans remember negative things better than positive things. It's just fact.

With great power, comes great responsibility. But absolute power corrupts absolutely.

TL:DR - when your public image is associated with arrogance, it doesn't exactly say the best things about you as a person, no matter what you actually are at your core.

#7 rocket league hoops in Other Games
ShpeeismeRocket league is actually such a sick game. It would be really funny if this became a big esport

I know it made an appearance at am MLG event some time ago. Haven't seen much else related to rocket league at an international competition though

#2 Mathsad/Gecks/Slin Appreciation Thread in TF2 General Discussion

this reminds me of last season's lower bracket finals between froyo and tsu on granary where the game ended incredibly late, despite this being much longer lasting.

Much love to all the casting crew tonight.

#33 is mcdonalds sweet tea too sweet? in Off Topic

For southerners, there is never a tea too sweet.

Slight tangent :I remember I had a friend that I did track with in high school and he had his own "signature sweet tea" that would literally get you going with a couple of drinks with how much sugar he had in it. But it was certainly a health hazard to try and drink an entire bottle of it in one sitting.

Also chick fil a's sweet tea is really good, if any of you ever happen to visit a southern state
