This is going to be a long one, so do with that as you want
While it doesn't matter as much since your day is basically scheduled for you, learn effective time management outside of class. Even if it's going to the library after school to do homework every day, it's well worth it when you go into college and you are in charge of everything you do. Have some place that you can store all of the things that you need to be responsible for. That can be in an app on your phone or even in a planner that you can get for a few bucks at the store. But DO NOT try and say "I'll remember everything myself" because you won't and something will end up slipping past you and end up biting you in the butt near the end of the semester. I've learned it firsthand and I'll tell you, it's completely and utterly awful.
Find a group of people that you can regularly connect with. I did band all 4 years of high school and I met some amazing friends and had some amazing life experiences. But remember that after high school, the majority of people go their separate ways and don't see each other again until the reunion.
Maintain good grades, but don't be that critical of trying to get a 4.0 these last few semesters. It's just going to cause unnecessary stress in your life. But if you can pull it off, more power to you.
Some of your teachers do know a thing or 2 in terms of their field. Whether it's coding or biology, NEVER be afraid to stick around after class and ask them to clarify what they meant in a certain part of the notes or for him/her to explain something better. Most teachers (and college professors) are usually more than willing to help you understand the content better. But they shouldn't have to spoonfeed you the information despite the fact that high school is mainly about learning something and spitting it back out on the test as accurately as possible.
Don't study material to be familiar with it, study material to understand it. There's a BIG difference between the two and learning to study for understanding now.
And lastly, have your priorities straight. My hours played within the past 2 weeks according to steam have plummeted when compared to during the summer since I've been so busy during the week. While I can't exactly play full time because sub 30 fps on a laptop is completely miserable, tf2 isn't going to be getting you a salary that you can make a living off of, despite what the majority of the people in the community want. But small things such as doing a paper long before it's due instead of playing tf2 will make your life so much more stress free.
flumeHow can I move the chatbox to the right?
Basechat in resource -> ui
Mess around with the xpos and ypos values in the "hudchat" field. It should be the first thing you see. If your hud doesn't have a basechat file, extract the file from the default hud files and go at it from there.
It's either source recording tool or just use something like shadowplay or OBS to record your clips. Just make sure that your quality settings are right before going at it
super kind guy, really deserves a good team

shit posting
I mean if you want to do it go ahead
Third time I've mentioned this idea here but I'll keep repeating it because all it would really take is some people at valve talking to other people about rerouting money so that the game can start on a track to being better
Even if a tiny margin of Mann Co store sales went to a sort of pot to jumpstart more tf2 LANs and events (I'm talking less than 5% over a certain period of time, maybe a month or so), people would love to see more developer involvement as well as more comp tf2 happening than just the end of esea/etf2l/ozfortress and the iseries lans (not to say that the dreamhack tournaments are super fun to watch). This doesn't involve dipping into any pools of cash that gaben has in secret locations but rather just taking from the incoming flow and putting it back into the competitive community that's basically done the majority of the weight pulling themselves.
I think trying to organize teams to get into one of the dreamhack events (probably @ Austin but idk of any other dreamhack events in NA other than Montreal) would be a great start for NA lans
PhizXCHeyyy.. Dude ya hud is a bit old it's there been a new update MEET YOUR MATCH and they're changed the way your are gonna community servers and more YOU said your where gonna update the hud didn't ya but IT'S STILL FREAKING AWESOME
