BakeTheBearWill any of the older valve maps be revisited? I don't know much about the map history of early comp, but maps like Yukon and foundry don't look so bad.
Neither of which are valve maps (community maps), and I don't believe they are terribly well suited for 6v6.
Yeah, I found it interesting that they added cp_logjam in as week 9 for just the professional division. I personally would like to know what's up because as much as I really want to see that tier of players play my map so I can get the layout set in stone, I don't want a new map to be the deciding factor over LAN or whatnot and piss off a bunch of teams.
So I know I was the asshole that was plugging intermodal all last season, but truth be told, intermodal kinda sucks for 6v6.
However, my other map, cp_logjam is pretty darn good. ETF2L put it in their Nations Cup, and CEVO is giving it a shot as preseason 2. If any new map should be added to ESEA, I feel like it should be logjam.

Early betas aren't pretty. However I'm working on it a bit, I don't want to go super crazy on detailing yet because I want to get feedback from the eXtv tournament coming up or at least a few teams scrimming on it or something.

Our team, HOBOSTIX, is looking for every class subs except medic. We scrim frequently, 4-5 nights a week, so chances are our subs will likely get playing time pretty often.
We particularly need scout subs, one of our scouts is going on vacation for a few weeks soon. So if you're a scout you could potentially be very active and maybe take the starting spot, who knows.

Logjam has gone BETA! What does that mean? Things are textured! Detail to come...
Changes:
Textured the whole play area (might've missed a few)
Removed the phallic mashed potato rocks replaced them with a fence on bridge
Gave some area behind the point at last
Worked on sightlines, clipping
Made it so you can surf down one side of cave

It could also be the lack of trim and detail that makes it not blend well. And if it doesn't blend well after trim comes in it's no big deal to pick a different texture.

Ripped off gullywash last some more, added secret and health/ammo
Added a new entrance to mid from banana/house/retainingwall
Fixed a few ramps to make doing silly soldier things easier
Fixed some displacements so that getting on the logs at 2nd is easier
Removed pride rock
