You restart the game and it should work yeah, there are no extra steps iirc

You should be able to find a download to the file HERE
Its a text file where you can change most of the weapons sounds, you download it and put the rpgsounds folder into your custom and there you go!
Please tell me is not one of these rotating crosshairs that even change color every second for the love of god.
Anyway
First import the materials\vgui\replay\thumbnails\xhairs folder.
Then you wanna go inside resource/ui/HudPlayerHealth.res and import the "Crosshair1" "Crosshair2" "Crosshair3" codes to the FlawHUD HudPlayerClass.res (hudplayerhealth panel is a bit short and it would get cut off so use hudplayerclass)
Hey, so you basically open the Customizations & Overrides > 4x3, 5x4, 16x10 Overrides > 4x3 and you copy the resource folder, last you go back to the main m0rehud folder (so the folder that contains the resource/scripts/customizations/info.vdf etc) and you paste the previously copied resource folder there, it will ask you if you want to repalce the files and you want to select yes. Done.
Always followed his streams everytime i could, he was so naturally skilled but his personality and positivity is what made me enjoy it so much. Rest in peace!
If its changing only once could just be tf2 setting again your resolution after every game launch, i dont know whats the criteria on why/when it does it but for me is really common after i change the antialias, changing the resolution through the game options seems to fix it for me most of the times tho like switch to 16:9 and then go back to your 4:3 res and see if it still happens at the next launch.
Its not a problem with your pc its caused by the hud, basically a common way for huds to fix the annoying dashboard dimmer is to toggle the mat_antilias on game lauch so that the edits applied to the dimmer can be actually loaded (it just wouldn't be impossible otherwise) so what you are seeing is the game opening the console > putting in the command to change the antialias so that the menu can be reloaded > reverting the changes to the antialias and closing the console, this is why it blinks 2 times.
It can be disabled however, deleting the cfg folder from your hud should be enough if i recall correctly.
Blobfishduring comp games i cant get both timers to show up ( like round timer and the 30 min half countdown) was this removed or did i just do a funky?
Make sure you have tf_hud_show_servertimelimit "1" in your config or put in in console
Naxeronthe casual end-game scoreboard looks borked https://imgur.com/a/jN0GpBE
Its fine for me in the last version
liszthow do i remove the friends list form the hud? its my fav hud, but the friends list demolished my menu fps.
There is a customization to do exactly that, open the Customizations > Main Menu > [Friends] Friends Panel OFF > copy the resource folder and paste & replace it over the normal m0rehud resource folder
Infinity_Im having a very strange issue where I cant edit the base hud. I've extracted the base hud files from tf2_misc_dir or whatever its called, and have resource and scripts, but I cant move anything in the hud. Im still able to edit shit in other custom huds, just not base one. Even when I replace an entire file with one from a custom hud, nothing changes.
I've started making huds from base files in the past so I'm very certain that I'm not making any mistakes, anyone have help?
Sounds like missing info.vdf
I watched it all quite some time ago but I would say it is still 100% worth it to watch for anyone that hasn't watched it yet.
It has his weird moments but overall is a really good show.
MapInfoMenu.res and TextWindow.res (also TextWindowCustomServer.res) are the files you are looking for.
Also is better if you ask in the dedicated thread next time!
osvaldoHypnotizeAlright, so following your recommandations, I replaced my PvPRankPanel.res with the 5.7 version and replaced all the "Menu Labels" for "Main Menu Labels" in MainMenuOverride.res (using the new 5.7 customization that removes the friends list in the main menu). That's a huge improvement, getting the rank/game back (although the progress bar is white and not blue for some reason - not that it matters to me) but also restoring the blue hovering effect (as seen on items in the screenshot).
However, when I click on "Items", I first get this weird visual bug (first click), then an error that shows in console (Unknown command "dimmer_clicked"). The third time I click on "Items", the game instantly crashes. Note that trying to access the "Item" tab when in game or through a bind that lets you see you current loadout also follows the same pattern that leads to crashes after 2 or 3 tries.
There is a "Menu Labels" inside PvPRankPanel as well, change that back to "Main Menu Labels" and you should get the blue bar back.
About the item problem what i did in the new m0rehud was adding the CharInfoLoadoutSubPanel.res so that users could skip between classes with the 1-9 keys and I made the file use the #base system which takes the default hud CharInfoLoadoutSubPanel from the default folder, so I imagine whats happening here is that you imported the file but not the default folder (inside resource)
Or if you don't care about the shortkeys you could just delete the file as well.
