liszthow do i remove the friends list form the hud? its my fav hud, but the friends list demolished my menu fps.
There is a customization to do exactly that, open the Customizations > Main Menu > [Friends] Friends Panel OFF > copy the resource folder and paste & replace it over the normal m0rehud resource folder

Hey, im using 4:3 but i have no idea ''You can find the patches inside the "Customizations & Overrides" > "4x3, 5x4, 16x10 Overrides" folder, open the folder that matches your aspect ration and take the "resource" folder in it, last replace it over the normal m0rehud files!'' what this means? Can someone help? Thanks
Hey, so you basically open the Customizations & Overrides > 4x3, 5x4, 16x10 Overrides > 4x3 and you copy the resource folder, last you go back to the main m0rehud folder (so the folder that contains the resource/scripts/customizations/info.vdf etc) and you paste the previously copied resource folder there, it will ask you if you want to repalce the files and you want to select yes. Done.
huh okay, thank you! that was super fast respond! great job
sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do i make it so the green shadow when health is buffed is gone
and also, im trying to add transparent viewmodels to the hud, so where do i put the materials and scripts folder for that? because i already have a minmode customization and i don't wanna replace that, i just want to add to it
edit: nvm i posted this before trying it. my bad

btw did you intend to make the small font slightly larger in latest update?

Yes it's intended the main reason behind it being optimization, m0refont46 was only used for that customization while m0refont48 is used all over the hud so I decided to get rid of it and switch to size 48, the difference should be barely noticeable anyway.

hi, I love the new m0rehud update but I can't find anywhere the smaller fonts customization folder like there used to be, is it now either minimode or not ? or did I miss the smaller fonts somewhere ?

I usually don't post about updates, but this is the largest one I made in a while so I thought I'd make a post about it since I know there are many m0rehud users here.
Here are the main changes from previous versions:
- On first launch, with a one time message, the HUD will ask to select your aspect ratio to make sure all HUD elements are properly sized for your resolution
- The old minmode customization has now been integrated in the HUD and it can be toggle with cl_hud_minmode
- Slightly tweaked the design of some elements, such as spectator HUD and ready up panels, to follow a consistent theme all around the HUD
- Redesigned build/destroy and disguise menus to work a little better with minmode
- Cleaned up a little most menus, like loadouts, matchmaking menus etc... This was done to make the menus easier to navigate. They are still very much default but cleaned from all the unneeded things
- An insane amount of fixes and improvements all around
On top of that I decided to split m0rehud in two versions:
main version: this is the version I'll keep developing and add new things to like I have been doing until now
classic version: a version for users that don't care about customizations and all the newer stuff that has been recently added, this is basically a 2011 m0rehud updated to work with the current TF2, I plan to only update this for bugfixes and TF2 updates (ahah). Also features a way simple HUD structure for all the users that like manually editing their HUDs.
Here is a link for both versions:

This is the first time I'm doing something like this in a large scale so I'm kinda hoping everything works but if something doesn't please report it here or open a GitHub issue!

Here are the main changes from previous versions:
- All customizations now use a base-logging system, in short the HUD now features an in-game customizations menu, as shown above, where each customization can be enabled by simply clicking the preview, this allows users to customize m0rehud directly from inside the game (font and theme changes will still require a game restart, there is no way around that sadly) making the process a lot easier. The menu also features many new customizations!

https://i.imgur.com/MXzK4pj.png

- Tweaked HUD crosshairs, removed some of the less used crosshairs in favor of more requested ones
- All HUD aliases are now unique to avoid any conflict with user configs
- General improvements to the MvM HUD
- Updated and fixed the HUD for some halloween gamemodes

As well as updates to the WIKI to cover the recent changes and much more, you can see the full changelog HERE
A lot of the credit goes to qkeitoe for the many discoveries and improvements that are part of this release
If you are running the 7.0 version or older this should be a good stable version to upgrade to, I don't expect to make any big changes for a while.
