We're making things better.
In the small group of people that I will call fantastic to be around.
I don't respond to people with under 5000 followers. Sorry, Shlaner.
Promotion isn't going to cause long term growth. That's more of a little spurt. What we've seen here is long term growth.
djcsending american teams to i46 brought virtually 0 exposure to this game
There was a large spike leading up to i46 in TF2 viewership. Then there was a massive spike. That spike hasn't dropped off. This game has grown significantly in terms of viewership, and that started around i46. Was it i46? Who knows. Certainly didn't hurt, though.
FzeroI hate when people DDOS but at the same time I hate the recent jail sentences that have been given for those that have been caught doing it. "23-year-old Mitchell L Frost, of Bellevue, Ohio, was given a 30 month prison sentence for a series of DDoS attacks he launched against the websites of high profile US right-wingers Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter and Rudy Giuliani."
I mean, come on, 30 months for that is insane. The idea that you can spend less time in prison for Domestic Violence for that just really bugs me
PS- Sorry Slin that you have a bunch of asshats causing you trouble
High profile sites generate millions of dollars a month. If you're attacking one of those sites for an extended period of time, you're costing somebody millions of dollars.
People are sentenced to much longer terms for robbing banks for significantly less money.
This is professional level journalism. ME LIKEY.

Do you want me to tell you how many good snipers there are in TF2?

Don't care what you do about sniper, but headshot only teaches bad habits. Every time I see somebody in a pug/match sniping and they miss the med because they were going for a headshot instead of taking the bodyshot.. I die a bit inside.
Enjoy the floor, idiots. If you snore I will kill you.
MR_SLINi'm thinking of going too....john/mana do you need a 3rd roomie?
Sure
My idea to Sean:
6 invite players (or more) and a pool of folks that have donated ($10 USD donation or more to be entered)
Invite players captain teams and randomly select players through a randomizer. Play this out as a "tournament" with these teams. It's a great way for fans of players to get a chance to play with them. Teams should be fairly balanced as the selection process will be randomized.
Winning 5 can select a signed weapon from an Invite player of their choosing or something. IDK. My BFF Jill.
(note: if the amount of potential players is too high for a 6s tournament... as much as some people will be against it - play highlander.)
mghughlaurieyea only need to win 1 for im. from past experience though i would recommend not going to im if you go 1-2 in playoffs like my old team did and we ended up going 2-9 lmao
You improve more from losing than you do from rolling other teams. Move up as soon as you're given the opportunity. If you can't take losing, then competitive games probably aren't for you, imo.
If somebody is streaming higher than a 3000kb/s bitrate ( lots of people will be doing so) your video is going to lag. I'd recommend dropping the quality if it's possible on the channel you are watching, as the transcodes lower the bitrate and it's a CBR rather than VBR.
