marmadukeGRYLLSfixed, still doesnt work
KonceptSomehow you seem to have deleted a value in the 2nd line of the bottom 2 lines
replace your current code from what's belowto thisAnimate “Crosshair11” FgColor "255 0 0 255" Linear 0.0 0.1 Animate “Crosshair11” FgColor "0 255 0 255" Linear 0. 0.200001
Animate “Crosshair11” FgColor "255 0 0 255" Linear 0.0 0.1 Animate “Crosshair11” FgColor "0 255 0 255" Linear 0.2 0.200001
and it should work
Did you straight copy paste this? If so, the quotes around Crosshair11 are shitty fancy quotes rather than normal ones. replace “ ” with " and see if that fixes it.

To clarify, my point in this entire argument has been as follows:
This format has merits over the other formats.
Its playstyle is representative of pubs, unlike 6s.
It isn't a logistic nightmare for matchmaking/team leading, unlike highlander.
So in one post, please spell out the pros and cons, these merits over other formats. Every reason you believe it to be better than 6s. That way we can address it point by point instead of this circular argument.
It's playstyle is not representitive of pubs. Subjectively, even less than 6s is. Full-time scout, soldier, sniper, demo, medic, and maybe one guy swapping between spy and engie is less like pubs. It just has MORE class restrictiveness than 6s. As well, a pick/ban system jumps it even further away. 6s itself doesn't prevent little old sigamains running full time engie through ruleset. Desire to win does.
Also imagine the leavers in mm when they dont get the class they want. OW has huge overlap of characters for this, TF2 doesnt. That's a logistical nightmare waiting to happen.
ScrambledThe transition between pubs and competitive in overwatch is virtually nonexistant though. High level gameplay in any esport will differ greatly from low level play. I'm talking about the format though. Going from only playing dustbowl and thundermountain pubs to playing a 6s lobby on process is a completely jarring experience in comparison to playing a pub in overwatch to the competitive mode.
And the transition from CSGO casual to comp is completely existant, they're very different games, and CSGO is one of the most successful esports... so what's your point? There's no correlation...
ScrambledThe impression I get is he's trying to make a format that resembles the way that pubs play that also works competitively and logistically for matchmaking. Which funnily enough isn't what the 6s community wants. They want all public players to adapt to their format. I wonder what is more likely to succeed?
You're saying 7v7 one of each class is more logistically viable for matchmaking? Even right now the only thing that gets considered is player count, so it's just 2 more players required, which is objectively "worse".
Also, you realize about 1 year ago 6s became the official format? It's the one in the game menu that anyone can queue for. It's not "stupid 6s elitists" anymore, it's stupid anti-6s elitists fighting the most competitive mode, and Valve. While leagues are a slightly more restrictive version of it, it is still the official competitive mode.
Not the best for rollouts, where knowing HP spent is important, but if you want regen just use something like this, instead of tying it to mouse input.

Basically creates a resupply locker around the player so you have constant regen without having to press any button at all.

basefiles isn't a part of the tf2 directory, nothing inside it will be looked at. I'm assuming the hudmaker has it there for comparison to the default files (base files) when editing.
If you actually see a g on the screen that means its a font issue, which I'm assuming because you couldn't find the ECON FONTS section where you declare your font. Here's what it looks like in flathud.
If you actually can't find it anywhere in the file, then you may want to ask the person who made the hud, as they could have renamed these things.
Edit: I downloaded morehud black, did ctrl+f "econ font" and found it on line 3315 in clientscheme.res by default. You just aren't looking well enough.
It's not always a problem, but shit like the process mid bomb linked in the other thread is just stupid. If you don't end up killing the enemy, you'll end up dead and can swap. If you do manage to live, then you can just grab something else off the floor.

KingsdenChanges like this will save TF2
Do you care to articulate why you feel this why?
faggetI don't think airstrike is going to be a problem, if you aren't rocket jumping it is quite the downgrade. Also beggar's bazooka's random projectile deviation makes it useless.
I wouldn't say useless. Very strong in situations where the deviation doesn't matter, like holding last. Very good at that sort of thing. Also probably map dependant.
Just a random frag clip, but imagine you try to dry push then this happens.
Martytbh airstrike and beggars are a bigger problem than atomizer.
They probably aren't problems DUE to the atomizer. At least, along with the medic speed buff.
feathershitscan?
Less of a problem than you'd think. Map dependant for sure though.
the301stspartanscouts can fly too now
Fair point.
Aptrip soldiers
I dunno...
Just equip base jumper and float in the sky spamming down beggar's/air strike rockets
one more last-minute bump
BazingaBarry82I am saving as autoexec.cfg, but I did some further testing and the autoexec is indeed execing, it's just the null movement script isn't working and it's unbinding my keys
So you can confirm 100% autoexec is executing? (You can put a statement in your auto exec like "echo AUTOEXEC RUNNING" and see this output in console after startup.
If so, can you post the contents of your autoexec in a pastebin link?
If applicable, post any other configs that get run, such as a class config, or reset config if you've configured things this way.
