#20 Top 10 TF2 plays - June 2015 in News
rowrowTo be fair, I don't imagine eXtv receive enough high quality clip submissions of decent plays to put together a top 10 that feels like a top 10. If eXtv opened up their submissions from league-only clips to any match/pug clips from that month, we'd be seeing good clips monthly.

There's a lot of clips from these top10 that arent from leagues, there's a lot of lobby clips actually.People just omit that for a cheap shot at their 15 mins of fame and I cant really fault Luke for most of that, but there are some glaring ones that even so you can clearly see it's from a lobby...
Also with 100k subs Im sure theres more than enough material. Hell, I only received 11 submissions on comptf this month and there's better demos than these.

Which regions will be supported?

At this moment, the supported regions will be the following – Europe, North America, Australia and South Africa.

That is about tf2pickup itself not the cup. And the site is not ready for launch yet, but yes, it will support all those 4 scenes from the start.

seeing as how we got 9-10k concurrent last year (and the year before?) and this year there's much more hype surrounding matchmaking and valve just posted a frontpage blog post about i55 I wouldn't count it out to reach 20k concurrent viewers.

#9 i55 prize pool increased to £7500 in News
Teapot_KanecoAfaik and if memory doesn't fails me it's also the highest Winner prize awarded in TF2 competitive history.

It's not the biggest prizepool because esea lan s16 was around 14k but it was more evenly distributed between the top 4.

Thanks to backpack.tf!

esea first place is $6,360 which works out to about £4033.

Im bad with currency apparently :D Must have messed up with € in the process.

LightstrikerDoes ETF2L also have a prize pool?

yes it does, you can check the entire etf2l history prizepool here http://comp.tf/wiki/ETF2L
Season 20 had the highest prizepool so far.

I stand corrected. Now that's history. I wasn't even around at that time, thanks to big zoob for creating that page.

#7 TF2 Tutorials during streams in TF2 General Discussion
fatswimdudeI would love nothing more than an MGE channel reboot hosting sessions of strats or quick tips made for a wide range of skill levels, but it seems a little hard to fit that kind of stuff into a cast downtime (at least IMHO).

I've just started working on something like that on comptf, I posted a thread about it a couple weeks ago and got some people interested in helping. I already have the material I need for our first video and I can say it's a esea lan experienced player. Obviously now need some time with the production and to create and set up the whole generic for the series.

As far as the OP goes, I think it's a good idea, but people would grow tired of it very easily, especially people who have already played competitive (who are the majority of our viewers), so it would have to be short and probably wouldn't be advisable to do it on every cast/stream, probably would be a really cool thing to do in the season finals / lan finals streams, but other than that as an every day regular stream intermission I think it wouldn't be a good idea

#13 Penciljumping: is it any good? in TF2 General Discussion
driftawhen you dont hold crouch in the air, the solly's leg animation is different and sometimes they go straight down and not move like a pencil. this happens when you ctap because you tap crouch and not hold it down.

SO THATS WHAT IT IS??? All this time I thought it was just the way scout mains jumped when playing solly because it looks so retarded

vibhavpOh, and can someone keep a list of all logs involving the top 5/6 teams? I'll be trying to do that, but I wouldn't be able to watch all matches, so it would be nice if someone could help me.

If everything goes as planned and we have enough people helping out, all the brackets, groups and matches will have attached scores as well as logs and even VODs later on. Since we ported the dynamic liquipedia brackets it supports a lot more information. It all depends on the people helping out editing the wiki page
