mwhat is the reason behind people not working on tf2pickup
People do work on tf2pickup, we have a very active team of admins, just not any devs atm as Kuferl had to go inactive for personal reasons.

IsocookieKanecodefyYou and some other people seem to have misunderstood what I said, so I'm gonna make it clear. We promised a NA version if we got help, we got no help so far, thus, no NA version.
also who gives a fuck where a person is from if they're good at coding?
At the moment we have 0 active devs, to develop a NA version of the site (despite most of the framework being built) we need at least 1 active dev.
Thus,we are asking for a volunteer to help us out, no matter where from. This is not a question of needing people specifically from one scene or the other, it's a question of needing anyone at all. I don't get it why you guys are being so defensive, we would be more than happy to have a NA version of the site working if we had the resources for it, but we don't.
What else is left to code??
Why is this getting downvoted? It is a legitimate question--is there a reason you can't just host a copy of the exact code code from tf2pickup on na.tf2pickup.net, like what serveme does? The TF2Pickup team talks about a need for more programmers to port the site to NA but it doesn't look like more work is needed right now.
Getting funding for TF2 and Mumble servers in NA is still an issue but it is completely separate from needing volunteers to code a website.
We dont need a mumble nor servers. As I said Simrai already offered that.
As for the site, I don't exactly know the specifics of what's left to code, I know most of the framework is ready but there was still some work to do for the na version, the best way to know that, if you're interested, is to had Kuferl and have a talk with him.

This is so wrong, it's an awful mistake to have such an active site like tf2pickup (atm abour 40 pickups a day) without an active dev, no matter if the site needs work or not. Just the other day the pickup bot broke or something and it wasn't working for 1 day until I managed to get ahold of kuferl and he fixed it, but he's not there to save us all the time as he's not really active anymore.
Herr_PKanecoEU teams are looking shaky this year, but I hope we can bring all the scenes together again.
As opposed to the rock solid teams that went to i52? :D
Well they showed promises up until the lan, and we still had Epsilon at the time where their big aim was to win i-series, things didnt go so well but yeah, I had more faith in i52 teams than I have now. Nothing will surpass i49 Epsilon for the EU scene at least in the short to medium term tho.

how do I remove the health bonus overlay/text when u pick a health pack for example?
DaStabahHow does your site work? Is it still using an IRC bot with the site acting as a GUI? What language is it coded in? Depending on what's actually being done to get these pugs going in the background will have an effect on who's willing to help.
I already linked the relevant post here and its on our official thread aswell. But here's the link direct to kuferl post.
Afaik kuferl developed the frontend and backend and trath developed the pickup bot using socket (javascript)
-proto#21 how was I spreading misinformation? I was just hypothesizing as to why they promised pickup in north america and it still not happening yet. If you need developers ask for developers, I do remember people offering to help even if they did not reach out directly.
We promised a NA version if we got help, we got no help so far, thus, no NA version. The only dev atm is Kuferl and he had some personal problems and lost motivation/time to support the site as much as he used to. So he's pretty much inactive unless there's an emergency with the site. We have posted several times over here and etf2l, and through our steam groups, asking for help and coders, no one has contacted us directly.
People posting on forums != actually adding us to help.
-protoIt doesn't seem like it would be too hard to provide tf2pickup for na... I'm sure tragic would donate some servers and there are tons of people willing to help code. Dont really know why its taking so long. Seems to me like its just laziness and a lack of motivation from the developers. I could be wrong though, please prove me wrong and release it soon!!!

Please don't spread misinformation . There was no one offering to help by adding our team directly. And the devs have other priorities as well, calling them lazy is a bit selfish seeing everything that was achieved for the project already.
Also servers are not an issue because afaik, our main server sponsor, simrai has already offered NA servers if needed
Bring back tf2 betas to solve some demo playback issues.
Fix the sound mute issue on demo playback that happens in some situations (similar to the bball sound bug) and only solves itself on death.
Fix game crashing bug when skipping demo ticks.
Further develop demo ui to match CS GO one, (skip between deaths/kills, etc)
Add official support for custom hud's.
Add streams ingame.
Add support for "Pro" items, like badges, strange parts for pro games, etc... add esports keys kinda like cs go that can support competitive tourneys.
Plenty more stuff but this is mostly stuff that I think would be feasible in a short time/effort
Killstreak weapons are ugly enough aesthetically while playing. Lets not bring it to streams as well pls.
LuckyLuke-protoyou guys should just number these and not name them by month. I don't mean this in a negative way but I don't remember the last time the month name matched or was less than 2 months away from the current month.Remember the plays are played in November, so the month will never match. We can only start working on it when the month is over.
January is recording now.
That suggestion still makes sense and doesn't really take away from the series, and doesn't leave a bad rep that way when you release one video 2 or 3 months late.
Also great work with the video, now this one was worth it. Really great stuff. I just have some criticism to make which is sometimes the cuttting of the clips is really strange, like, on the scofield clip, why the hell would you cut the clip to show him miss a jump 3 times to the bridge and getting an assist on the medic? Seems kinda pointless. Other than that, the video was great!

the golden age of eu tf2... bring it back pls <3

IS THIS TRUE?
The downsides of a community wiki, that lone sentence was added by a random ip address a few days ago (jan 29th), guess some people just like to stir drama, fixed and banned the guy.
