ArieMetaweDOS protection euros pls. I guess you don't have as many people wanting to attack servers but this is just frustrating now.
They used a non-protected server twice, and a OVH DDoS protected server twice. The DDoS mitigation of that provider can take up to two minutes to kick in. I don't know if the teams left before it kicking in or if it wasn't effective enough.
Unfortunately the teams didn't try one of the other DDoS protected server options in the EU.
It would also have been nice if all 18 players had taken the normal precautions for showmatches to prevent the gameserver IP from leaking out in the first place.
Players from both teams were timing out from the EU servers. The first round on viaduct started lagging when there was about 10 seconds left for both teams so we managed to play 1 round on an EU server.

we have a linux vds from NFO with dos protection, NFO also offers servers in frankfurt if you guys want to buy your own server for matches etc

i5 or i7 for TF2 specifically?

My thought process behind buying an i5 over an i7 was to spend the extra money on a water cooling system and then OC to 4.6+ ghz. i7 is better just depends on how much money you have to spend.

Seems like the head admins who coded the site overruled their PR and general admins who have more experience working with people. This hurt tf2center's public image and then the head admins (coders) proceeded to ignore help when trying to resolve the issues they created. at least thats what I got from reading this
