Anyway. It was a good run; the core members of the old roster in myself, Abramelin and LdK stuck around with this team for quite some time, for better or worse. The reality, unfortunately, is that not only is Bolwind way too good for this shitty game and went back to quake (sorry ladies) I just don't have the time or energy to devote to leaderly duties and TF2 teammembering and also generally pretty burnt out of it, Abramelin has a real job now and LdK is generally too busy with real life to give a damn. This is what happens when you grow up, kids

On that note, can any of you recommend some good CRT TVs? Considering that 95% of the console gaming I do is on PS1 and PS2 I should probably get a good one sometime

I also endorse John Carpenter's The Thing, probably the best monster movie I've ever seen.

Speaking of monster movies, I hope you've seen/are planning to see Pacific Rim. I had to watch it in theaters twice, once in each dimension, I loved it so much. I was so surprised at how well Del Toro captured the spirit of kaiju flicks and mecha anime, it made for one of the funnest movie theater experiences I've ever had.

In Grade 7 I got ISS for giving a pen I was fooling around with in a French class back to my teacher for confiscation. She apparently thought I was trying to stab her with it. I don't even know. The rumors after that one were not fun. RIP

The ISS I probably deserved also happened in Grade 7 during music class. This music teacher we all hated was rambling on airily about lung capacity for instruments or something, so I stood up and yelled "I'LL SHOW YOU GOOD LUNGS" and blew into my palms really hard to make a cacophonous ripper fart noise. The class didn't stop laughing for a good 3 minutes, even after I got kicked out into the hall.

Done. I guess I should message him about it on steam too.

I'm mostly just mystified as to how that even happens.

On this week's latest episode of the hot new tragicomedy The ESEA Client Does The Darndest Things, whenever I exit out of this dirty cumfart of a program it both crashes and lags my mouse in such an excruciatingly slow way that I need to move it across my screen ~very deliberately~ until I can mouse over and cancel out of the Windows crash report. I don't even know what to think of that.

I liked that thread because it was one of the few times during a discussion about yet another one of ESEA's displays of incompetence where the good ole ESEA Cycle

They really are, I don't know how people put up with that. I spent at least 30-40 for the whole trip through the state there and back. I guess it's not THAT big a deal when you live there and don't need to drive through the entire state constantly but paying a toll literally every time you get off the freeway is such a waste of time and really must add up.
