Hey guys, I have a couple questions about mechanical keyboards because I am looking to get a new keyboard this holiday season.

I am currently using a coolermaster quickfire tk with blue switches and I quite like them, but do to my family and how loud they are, thus I am looking to get a quieter switch, but still has the clicky feeling. Is there a switch that feels like blues but isn't quite as loud?

I really don't want a numpad, and back lighting doesn't really matter to me.

My budget is around 130 dollars Canadian, Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :>

I had this problem with my g502 where the sensor would at random times do a 360 in game when you flicked or sometimes just at random, and I ended up replacing my g502 because of it with a EC1-A

I feel like discord is definitely a good alternative to IRC, but I feel like the North American community (for at least open) needs to agree on one way or just have every one on MULTIPLE platforms. I have lost count of how many times I have been canceled on for scrims with like 30+ leaders added and because people are already scrimming having to wait 30 minutes or more then getting a bad scrim or none at all. People in the UGC HL Community have done these neat little groups for the lower divisions (silver and under) where its a group where everyone has the ability to post announcements to ask for scrims, if we created one for open and Invited the leaders (this may be a challenge to do individually because of not everyone's ESEA profile linking directly to there steam) You have a means of getting alerts directly to your steam client.

But again, Please if you haven't already find a way to log on to IRC and have discord Up and running as well, it would be wonderful if we could maybe get all three running instead of everyone just arguing over which one is the best and which one we should use.

I do quite agree that scrim.me is very cluttered and I've only used it to get team leaders who have registered there team on the site and added them for scrims.

I don't think that a lot of players are down with paying there premium fees year round, and although the scrim service does work and quite a large chunk of people in the cs community use it (including in CEVO/FaceIt). If people used it during the season it would be a very good way to get around the IRC/Discord/Lack Of scrims Issue. There is currently a ton of ways for people to get scrims, its a matter of the community getting on board and actually USING THEM.

TL;DR start using the stuff and we wont have issues, Steam group could be a good platform and everyone needs to be on-board
