Rockkkkkkkhopefully we're all in space suits and airblast doesn't work.
the dream.
I'm pretty sure the Pyro would just bring another canister of air along.
The map does sound interesting, but I'll reserve judgement on it until it is released.
Remember what tomorrow today is kids... The celebrations could be premature.
I can only hope they ran the numbers and they can do it for a while.
I also hope this isn't a early April Fool's joke...
I liked the basic concept (up until Robin subbed in, but it got us to $100k so who cares?). But I think there's a little room for improvement into a PUG format:
1. Players can add up to multiple classes a la pug.na(hl).
2. Instead of banning certain people, captains can elect to ban either a map or a class. Where a map ban prevents it from being randomly selected and RTV'ed to, and a class ban restricts anyone from using it.
3. Since the captains are playing, their 6th pick is to select one class and either restrict it to Vanilla items or give it expanded unlocks. This applies to both teams.
4. Players picked to play a certain class are locked to that class, moving to a different class for the game requires approval of both captains.
Yay or Nay?
I guarantee this last crate won't be an unusual.
I dare any of the TFtv cameramen to use it and see if anyone notices any differences.
You might have to restart TF2 for changes to take hold.
That or TFtv is secretly, a time machine.
Load up a local game, add bots (tf_bot_add) and set mp_tournament to 1, then edit away :)
I think someone came in and wrecked the map for no reason.
tornados2111Not liking this. The vision for the core gaming audience will probably be compromised. Facebook is just interested in the short cheap games that make the moneys
Or just gobbling up tech to resell later at inflated values when Facebook the website starts going the way of MySpace.
I think my first match of any kind was a 6s game on Pro_viaduct when eXtine was hosting lobbies one night. Took me thirty bloody minutes to figure out I wasn't supposed to put the compressed file in the maps folder, and instead just download it from the server. Finally got in and played soldier and bottom-scored on the server, and the match ended in a 2-2 tie I think due to the server time kicking in on the Golden Cap.
