#10 Overwatch Seasonal Content in Other Games

I know that this isnt necessarily how development teams work but i find it interesting that they release this huge casual event before addressing some of the issues that make the game difficult to accept competitively.

I saw a match in their qualifiers for the 300k tournament where a player dropped between rounds in a koth map and instead of him being able to rejoin, the entire game had to be remade. In addition, because of the randomised stages in the map, they had to reset the lobby again because the right stage didnt appear. It isn't a great look for a game trying to cement itself on its biggest stage so far.

Luffy needs to drop R.Mika. In that MOV match he didn't command grab once and when you're limiting yourself that much with a character that rolls the dice, why play her? Chun has a rack too.

Also, if anyone wants to play my scrubby Nash hit me up.

#36 literature in Off Topic

I keep dipping into books and never finishing them. Currently I'm reading

Neuromancer - William Gibson (Almost finished)
No Longer Human - Osamu Dazai (Halfway)
The Plague - Albert Camus (Just started)

Best book I read recently was Roadside Picnic - Strugatsky brothers

kevLeyrNo one watching SFV? Y'all missing out on some good shit
just not as popular as melee on tf.tv

really good stuff though

I slept through melee haha. Evo has been great so far, its just a shame the first 3 finals had horrible sound issues.

Top 32 was too sick. Good shit to Joe for breaking top 8 even if his bracket was weaker. I think Infil will win but I really like watching Nemo's Vega so hoping both do well.

#25 Our entire production crew has made an ow org... in TF2 General Discussion

Stupid thread. They've been working their asses off at LANs for nothing, it's about time they make some money off of a game in dire need of quality talent.

#100 Capcom Pro Tour in Esports

1) Infiltration. I just can't see Infil not taking this with the dominant year he's had. I wouldn't put it past him to have a a counterpick up his sleeve either.

2) Tokido. Continuing his story of near-excellence this year, Tokido will lose against his demon in GFs.

3) Momochi. The way Momochi plays Ken is different to any of the US players that won ranking events this year. Truly tested Tokido at CEO, will be a huge threat.

4)Haitani. The best player in Japan according to the Japanese players and the epitome of consistency. So many top 8s including 4th at CEO

5) Xian. Making the best out of a character considered low tier, Xian's top 8 placings cement him as a legitimate threat.

5) Kazunoko. As we saw at Capcom Cup in 2015, Kazunoko possesses the talent to read move after move. Armed with a solid character in Cammy, Kazunoko definitely has the potential to catch fire and tear through the bracket

7)Nuckledu Has some of the most impressive showings against international competition for a NA resident. His nash plays significantly different to Infil's yet suits his playstyle beautifully

7)Fuudo. Marn said it best when he said that top 8 would always have a random Mika and Fuudo is my selection. Godlike reactions guarantee Fuudo to be a threat, if not break top 8 with some sick airgrabs.

(some picks for top 16)
9-16) Daigo, Justin Wong, GO1, Chris T

Wildcards:
Keoma. Going out on a limb. Looked pretty good at his one showing at RBK
Will2Pac. Proved at Dreamhack Austin his Laura has massive upset potential.
Luffy. You can never trust a Mika and Luffy has been looking cleaner and cleaner
Phenom. I didn't get to catch DHS but he took out some killers on his way to victory. Worth considering
Eita. Could easily make top 16. The craziest Ken player out there. In this game Wake-up DP is a commitment and Eita lives and dies by his own madness.

Omissions:
Snake Eyez. Still needs to adapt to the new iteration of Zangief
Poongko. It's unclear if Capcom will ever make a character as versatile as Seth and Cammy clearly doesn't fill the gap. Seth was beautifully moulded to his playstyle and I lack faith in his ability to fully utilize Cammy to full potential.

Either way, Evo is going to be godlike. Just wish that SFV finals weren't at 3am for me.

STOGELeyrwhat was the default zoom_sensitivity_ratio? Pretty sure it wasn't always 1
It was

Huh, Sniper feels so much more sensitive when scoped though. I don't think it is my imagination though.

#9 Thoughts on a '6s Open?' in TF2 General Discussion

If a league runs a newbie tournament similar to Archimedes within a month of MM official release it could really serve as a welcome mat for these new players to explore a more structured form of MM. Definitely could be a boon.
