FraFfLucky_PierreLooking forward to this preview of the i49 final :)you, sir, have won.
Feels good... now where to I collect my prize money? :D
The road trip aspect of coming to the UK would be cool.
My only criticism of the i46 doc would be that it didn't tell a story. It told you what happened (literally documented it, which is no bad thing at all), but it would be nice to have a story thread running through with sidelines into the different people and matches at LAN... so like HRG's journey to and journey at LAN, how their thoughts change over the time period before, on the way to, at and after LAN :D
<3 to anyone filming and putting out stuff.
Just for Arie
ArxIt applies to the post above too. A doctor fresh out of medical school isn't automatically a great doctor. They need experience which takes time.
To be fair they don't give a doctor fresh out of med school high profile and complex surgery to do.. they tend to start at lower levels where they are unlikely to cause issues whilst they are still learning. Then later they get to do the brain surgery and earn enough bank for private jets and all that jazz.
So you should be asking Byte where your private jet is.... :)
Well you are all wrong, Matt Berry needs to cast this LAN best voice EU ... although Brian Blessed doing the big plays would be amazing.
Also given the original post it is perfectly suitable that Arx and Beta host the final, both represent the EU, so that is both sides of it covered.
In case anyone else missed it 2nuts has a stream now as well : http://www.twitch.tv/twonuts ... which is nice. :)
<3 Luke and Sal and Airon and everyone else involved in this. Congrats on getting it done and getting it out there.
Wow this thread went from being a bit under the weather, to being HIV+ to full blown AIDS pretty quickly. I'm not sure antiretrovirals will help at this point.
Looking forward to the new thread promised about the video. Also looking forward to the video, and to i49 and the hyyyyype. Also the holiday I'm having in September and Christmas looks pretty good too, and loads of other stuff... the future is awesome.
Don't quote me on this but I believe Luke is a video editor for a living.
Now I'm a programmer for a living and after spending all day programming (well pretending to program whilst watching various shitlords play TF2 on stream) I don't come home and relish the idea of more programming, even when it is for something I love.
Also the timing is actually quite nice for a pre i49 hype type situation, which is arguably an even bigger event with Aus, US and EU all attending.
I'm not sure you did.
Epsilon may be top at TF2 in EU, but their representation in this drinking competition is low Div1 at best :)
Sad that we will no longer be able to remind Lucky Luke that he should be finishing the Videozzz :)
VERY happy to hopefully be seeing it soon (how soon? is now?)
Most entertaining to watch
Scout : Carnage, Bybben, Stefan
Soldiers : Mike, Tagg, Reptile, Mackey
Medic : Shade, TheFragile, mirelin
Demo : numlocked, Kaidus
Honourable mentions to Bloodsire, Seanbud and the mighty SteveyJJ for their streams being very entertaining or informative.
Looking forward to this preview of the i49 final :)
bumble, if you are wondering why people are down fragging you it is because SSBM is only available on one console platform.
Even without SSBM fighting games have been gaining viewership over the last few years, partly because of great commentary moments, partly because of cult 'in' stuff being fun (WOMBO COMBO, Curly Mustache etc. etc.), partly because of the work of EVO in promoting itself and the gaming orgs behind the games promoting themselves.
Fighting Games have been popular previously, but seem to have really moved out of their niche/cult status in esports and into a whole bigger realm. EVO2013 seems like a watershed moment as well. As Not_Matlock points out the actual companies are engaged with the esport, which has knock on benefits.
