#7 any smash players? in Other Games
aierahttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1khAzu94aBtOJk01k34s_50RnzSH-Gp0nfj9_jmpzWSE/edit#gid=0

Mental note to add myself to this when I get home.

As a side note: I play all the Smash games, so if you wanna hit me up on any of them let me know. (Computer is to shit ft net play Melee but I'm available for Smash 4 most of the time.)

#174 froyotech disbands in News

To be honest, I joined around the LG era of b4nny, and I became an instant fan..... Of Clockwork. And then I realized that b4nny was pretty good to and I started watching him. This was before I knew anything about other teams or the community.

RIP. You'll be missed guys.

#10 evlTV needs you and we've got a budget! in TF2 General Discussion

I've actually always wanted to be a caster, but I have zero prior experience besides sitting in spectate in a pub with a friend and just saying what's happening.

I'm planning on using any Christmas money I get on a nice quality microphone for Voice Acting and vocal music, I could probably use it for casting to if you guys are still looking for volunteers by that point.

That said, anybody know good ways to practice?

#112 Introducing... The Mannterface! in Customization

Mind telling me how to enable Knuckles_Crosshairs? I found the option to enable them, but I can't seem to find the individual crosshairs to enable. Mind helping me out?

Thanks for all the previous updates, sorry for not finding stuff like I have before and letting you know. College gets in the way.

#1 Quickplay Issue in Q/A Help

So a few updates ago, around before Gun Mettle, my quickplay button never seemed to have any issues and loaded maps and all just fine.

More recently however, around midway through Gun Mettle, whenever I use Quick-Play for any game mode, it will do one of about 4 things.

1. Maps load fine, and from there I can play really, whatever I want as if quick-play worked normally.

2. The game will search for available servers, and then come back with various servers that apparently have nobody in them. I try joining these servers just to see if player numbers are off and they are indeed empty.

3. Quick play will search for servers and then come back with servers saying that I have upwards of 200 ping.

4. I'll get servers like normal with players and good ping, but when I try and connect, it says "error" and nothing else.

This also affects my normal server browser and prevents some options from showing up. It seems that closing TF2 and opening it back up will SOMETIMES fix it, and sometimes I'll have to back out again and repeat.

#1 Issues with Mobile in Site Discussion

So, I don't always have access to my computer due to school, work, and various other issues with life as a whole, as a result, I'm usually on TF.TV from my phone. Recently, whenever I come on TF.TV on my phone, the page disappears and starts loading a URL that goes by to quickly for me to copy and takes me to some product in the App store, just curious if this is a site issue maybe loading an add that takes me to the app store or something?

#3 Looking to join a team in Recruitment (looking for team)

Yeah, if memory is correct most 6s games (ESEA anyway) start at 11 PM and can run even later with scrims that start even earlier than that.

Love the HUD, have been using it for a bit. Actually felt like it was a real TF2-dev made HUD for a bit. I mean, look at this dedication:

EDIT: Above post is me being stupid. Sorry.

EDIT 2: While playing in-game with the HUD, I found a few issues that I don't know are just issues for me or just issues for everybody else.

The first issue is that the panel that shows you last life achievements blocks the name of people, like so: http://imgur.com/4PvROtZ

I personally don't care all to much about that panel, so if it's just a problem with me, telling me how I can go about getting rid of the panel altogether would be fine

My next issue is one I believe was mentioned here before and an update fixed it, but I can't see health values on players. http://imgur.com/QSz3nwp

My final problem is along the same lines as the first, but I can't delete anything that I don't need for it. My health basically covers the name and uber percent of people healing me. There's also a red line across my screen under health and ammo. http://imgur.com/y5kXzfP

Thanks for the help, and I really enjoy the HUD!

EDIT 3: On KOTH maps, it seems that there's some odd black background for both teams.
http://imgur.com/XoPeraB - BLU
http://imgur.com/6yMittv - RED

Seems to only apply to the team that has the point, if it's just an issue for me it's not a big deal, but others may care. So just a heads up.

Also, if I read it correctly, the OP says that transparent view models are included. Could you tell me where to find or activate that?

Small campus so probably nobody here, but it's worth a try.

SchweppesI enjoyed playing this sometimes until they added pendulum monsters which is utter bullshit :P

I ran into one of those two days ago. Couldn't attack anything at all. Hate it to death and don't use it.

#84 ESEA Map Vote Season 20 in TF2 General Discussion
Ma3laaThe map pool is fine as it is but changing granary to the pro version should definitely happen.

Also I have to say I think it would be really great to try to incorporate some good attack defend maps if any mapper would ever be willing to give it a shot.

- A/D provides comp tf2 something that it really doesn't have at all, that being prepared strats. There really is no opportunity right now for a lesser team in individual DM/skill to ever upset a better team through preparing with some new strategies or new ways to play a map to outplay an "on paper" better team.
- A/D provides without question some really exciting matches just from the nature of the gamemode, forcing people to push etc. Not to mention new strategies are cool to see in action.
- Valve will surely include A/D maybe even payload in MM, payload really wouldn't work but A/d could if good maps were made. With the steam workshop any good maps we like to play could become popular enough that valve would definitely put them into a contract mission or something like that officially adding them to the game.
- It's way easier of a game mode to understand to people that aren't extremely familiar with how 5cp/comp tf2 works as an outside viewer on twitch.

It doesn't necessarily have to be in the gpit style of A/D with multiple points it could be the dustbowl style of it as well, would just be fun to try and it has always been really fun to watch. It would add the ability for teams to use different strategies with other classes and potential for worse on paper teams to beat "better" teams with research and preparation.

Probably a good idea for A/D, I know this is repeated a lot, but now is the time to try and help Valve help us, in this case, by trying to add another game mode that lots of players enjoy.
