HOIThe unity editor running in the background would affect (double?) my tf2 sens on windows 10, maybe its a background application
I see. I'll try playing with the most minimal setup possible.
crespiAnd you're 100% certain about that?
Yeah I am. Tried playing Quake Live LG duels yesterday too and the mouse issue didn't happen. Although it's hard to confirm 100%, the issue only seems to be present in CS:GO and TF2.
crespiIf so, to me the only logical conclusion would be something network related causing your FPS to drop which could be perceived as a mouse issue. Can you try using net_graph 3 to monitor your network status while you play tf2? If choke/loss increase at the same time the mouse issue happens, that could be it.
It's difficult to get a good recording of this issue but I will try to capture it with net_graph on.
mvrkThis may be completely unrelated since you already mentioned how extensively you tested it but:
I had pretty much the exact same issue where my mouse would seem to randomly change sensitivity mid game. Figured out it was only happening when I was scrimming and narrowed it down to mumble being the issue.
For some weird reason my client was outdated and was causing the problem, found some github threads talking about it messing up some of the windows settings on older versions (I don't remember specifics).
Updating it fixed 2 weeks of pain.
Unfortunately, I've replicated the issue with Mumble off but I haven't tried playing with Discord off as well so I'll try that. I'll also make sure my mumble client is up to date.
NoNoeWayI thought I was going crazy. I have the same issue, I also recently started using my logitech G600.
I assumed it had mouse acceleration by default but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's a fresh mouse and my drivers are updated too. I'm starting to think it might be a problem with the newer logitech mice and the source 1 engine since I haven't had this issue with source2 so far.
Yeah it's a very frustrating issue to have but there has to be a way to solve it since so many people use Logitech mice in CS and TF2 without these issues.
