A new stickybomb launcher? Valve, it's too early for April fools.

perfect_numberExcept .scr viruses wouldn't work on linux
Well yeah, but that's beside the point. My point was any exploit using the Steam API is just as easily countered in Linux as Windows, though the latter is certainly a more high profile target.
CHERRYperfect_numberLinux users right nowYou're basically the kind of people who make me want to write this sort of stuff for Linux to prove my point which is - there are no viruses for your system because no one cares about it enough, not because it's idiotproof :)

Linux users: Edit /etc/hosts instead. Done.
Got some nice clothes from my sisters (who thankfully have a better fashion sense than myself).
Got myself a 3DS
Gave one friend Divinity: Origins, another friend some locally manufactured chocolate, and another friend some classical music CDs.
I love taking about audio hardware. My first job out of high school was helping rebuild the studios of a non-commercial FM radio station. Feel free to hit me up.
Damn, I really wanted that nasty fadeaway pipe at the end to be real. My life is a lie.
enigma1. add new posts to a queue
2. run a script every minute through cron to clear the queue
2a. script parses posts in queue and sends out notifications
great idea -- will definitely implemenet
Not to be terribly pedantic, but wouldn't the "proper" way be to have an active queue consumption service rather than a cron job? If there is more than a minute's worth of work in the queue, the processes would stack up, for instance.
2cpoint being if it gets updated to source2 the game itself isnt going to be very different outside of better use of multicore, more physics engine features, and maybe a new hammer to work with, its not like theyd be remaking the gmae
* Performance optimizations
* (presumably) Fixing long-standing graphical and physics glitches
* More accessible file formats (for HUDs, mods, and demos)
I'd call all of these (especially the third one) pretty big gains.
The demo format in particular is proprietary, and in Valve's own words, hacky and nearly impossible to parse. I did some amount of work attempting to decode it, but realized my efforts would be better spent elsewhere, especially when and if the format becomes deprecated with Source 2.
Spent the first 1500 hours of my career on the Older Than Dos clan server. Entry requirement to the clan "family" was that you were literally older than DOS. Coolest bunch of old people you ever met, the ringleader was a 60-something year old who frequently took breaks to smoke a bowl. Unfortunately, real life got in the way and many of them took to prioritizing their families over videogames.

PheeshApparently facebook was listing to my friends my "favorite movies, tv shows, and favorite books" that I had never read or watched at all and had never filled in on the site.
You might want to change your password. Facebook doesn't auto-fill stuff on your profile (though they do offer wildly inaccurate suggestions).
EDIT: I found this
The spam sites have a mechanism to add unwanted likes. The 'like' button is hidden on the page and follows your cursor, so whenever you click, you're actually hitting a 'like' button and adding an unwanted page to your fb.
As somebody who works in the advertising space (and performs targeting on Facebook), I would just like to point out that the trending stories feed is NOT targetable by advertisers. However, that isn't to say to say that Facebook doesn't do algorithmic filtering of their own based on your data.
