I'm running PREC 2.0.5 (latest version) and I played a scrim earlier today. I just launched TF2 and now it's giving me this.

TreePipitCan't say i'm not intrigued by the map idea, yet i'm unable to pass the very first jump. Partially because i expected useful little tricks to traverse comp maps - like most basic jumps in comp are - that even a div8 solly can pull out with a little devotion. That skip plus strafe already has little error margin and feels jumpmap-ludicrous, but i'm not daunted just by that. However i'm experiencing a significant fps drop from the beginning, which makes the timing of the skip even more challenging. I have no idea what it is, but maybe i'm not the only one. The gentleman above claimed something similar but stage-specific. Anyone else?
The first jump is pretty easy even by jump map standards. That being said, I do feel your pain with regards to performance issues, which I especially notice on the process part for some reason.
I went to the doctor for my mouse hand going numb, turns out it wasn't carpal tunnel (yet), but it was still an inflamed nerve in my wrist from playing too much vidya. The solution literally turned out to be play less video games and take more frequent breaks.
I use WorkRave, which has an adjustable timer for taking periodic breaks to avoid this sort of thing from happening.
Somebody better tell Robin we're a real esport now. I'm sure that'll work.

Phrakture with the blatant hack pipes
I don't know if I can support these suggestions to spend more on a headphone amp than your headphones. A good amp capable of driving your headphones is important, but that's about it. There is a substantially greater sound improvement to be had from buying better headphones than a better amp.
I would also add, you should look over at head-fi.org and see what they say about headphones and amplification in your price range. There are some decent suggestions in this thread, but they probably know more about audio then a competitive TF2 forum.

Don't worry, Seattle's sports history contains only tragic losses.

KanecoIf you ever need to compare 2 text files or configs again I would advise to use Notepad ++ with the Compare plugin you can find here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-compare/
It's really useful for me
