I'll be rendering out the demos to the igmdb yt channel. If anyone wants to see a specific POV from a game lemme know.

Thanks for the help guys. I was able to get the first map of the S31 grand finals to work:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp9eVlk9iXQ
However TF2 kept crashing out when I enabled any of these cvars:
ce_hitevents_enabled
ce_projectileoutlines_pills
ce_projectileoutlines_rockets
ce_projectileoutlines_stickies
I made sure to use the CE r21-red06 build and I used almost the same settings as what Wiethoofd pasted - are there any known incompatibilities with other settings that I need to worry about? I disabled all other plugins but no luck.
@jnki I went ahead and got CastingEssentials going:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbqCgP8irVA
- basic CE config so nothing really special and not super familiar with the plugin enough to proceed without more help/input. To keep things interesting the POV automatically changes every so often, however CE's autoswitch handles things otherwise. Damage numbers and sounds don't appear to work, however I can't tell if that is due to the STV demo missing that data. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know.
The render machine is: i7-6700 w/ Nvidia GTX 970 and 16GB memory. During a render most of the machine (gpu + cpu + memory) is consumed; the goal is to render the demo out as fast as possible so the encoding is done synchronously at the hardware level. It's for the love of the game and technology.
Apologies for the bump, but wanted to highlight a new feature that was released on the site today: the ability to render a specific POV in an STV demo. Been a long time coming, but well worth it imo.

Got feedback? lemme know.
I've mirrored everything at http://demos.igmdb.org/Insomnia63/
Structural basis of α-amylase activation by chloride
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2373612/
Specifically:
"The crystal structure of the chloride-free mutant Lys300Gln indicates that Cl− is not mandatory for the amylolytic activity or for proper enzyme folding but that the anion dramatically enhances the enzyme reactivity and structural stability"
science is fun
Check the 'Open' folder in LuckyLuke's link. It looks like it was just added.
@drshdwpuppet any word on the availability of the finals and open demos?
If comms are recorded in the demo then you can hear them within the youtube video.
I've been uploading SourceTV and pov demos at https://www.youtube.com/user/GamingMovieDbTF2
If you have a demo you can upload it to www.igmdb.org/?page=render and it'll be rendered to there as well. A bunch of other people have been doing the same so the channel has quite a variety of videos now.
Thanks emkay - that's a crazy amount of work.
I mirrored the uncompressed archive here:
http://demos.igmdb.org/Insomnia58/
And started rendering multiple POVs here:

astrin_im trying to render a demo but the "choose file" button is greyed out. are there a set of requirements I need to render a demo?
You have to create an account first. Once you do that you should be good to go.
toads_tfEmail verification doesn't work at all for me, and I've checked spam and all other stupid categories gmail has made. Shame, it looks like a really cool site.
edit: it worked, but the emails only showed up 3 hours later, very strange.
I'll check into it. I've always had issues with email delivery. If anyone else can't login or never got an email shoot me a message here or on steam and I'll fix it.
I host several hundred GB's of Quake, RTCW, ET, etc etc demos at http://demos.igmdb.org/. I'd gladly provide FTP access if you guys want to upload yours.
I was able to solve this problem on igmdb's rendering side. The demo Tury mentioned was taken on a server where sv_allow_wait_command was disabled, and unfortunately during playback that cvar remains set to 0. The rendering system was running a few commands in a loop which used a wait command and since the wait command was disabled the loop ran over and over and caused tf2 to crash out. I got it to work by forcing sv_allow_wait_command to be 1.
I've converted a number of these demos to 1080p 60fps videos at http://www.youtube.com/GamingMovieDbTF2
If anyone has any requests please let me know.
