The biggest problem is simply mental health. Now that the real shooter has been identified, everybody tells of how disturbed he was, emotionless, withdrawn, etc. People in the killers communities and all communities know of these people, but turn a blind eye to a person who needs help. They hope that they will be somebody else's problem till they turn up at our schools and malls.

Also guns inflict the most damage of anything that was designed to kill since the Bomb. If not gun control laws, how bout some actual gun control? Gun safe's mandatory or something. Hate for the next murder to be yours or a loved one since we refuse to have a real conversation about this. We will be scanned and searched for as much as a pair of scissors to board a plane but not make our weapons harder to reach and access?

So true. If there was a way to screen players before they play, that would be great, but honestly not really worth the time or effort that would take. Some of the best help could be starting them off with a link to a video that shows the absolute basics in a nutshell, so a coach doesn't have to spend the first 20 seconds of every round saying, 1 person equalize, duck if you aren't the demo, heal the demo first. Show them how to rocket jump, have a real quick general (this is how you mid-fight) something along those lines.

On gran, never played the boxes. Pretty much we spawned and I tried to close the distance as fast as possible, even at the risk of damage. So a lot of me jumping in their face. But again, they were free to abuse sticks to their hearts delight, with the exception of an actual trap, meaning that after some one got a kill, stickies were det, then they could reapply or single det all 8 if they'd like.

Honestly also feel that even when demos use all 8 stickies, in anyway they see fit, they don't automatically beat scouts and soldiers. I've played against several demo mains, not im or higher, but competant demo mains when they were doing this and still a well placed jump followed by rockets and shotguns still won. It was not a blowout, maybe like 20-15 but still very managable. I've done this with gunboats and shotty, just to see where that 1 v 1 matchup goes. Sometimes they would even go as far as stickying themselves in around Badlands middle choke, but if the jump was good, it didn't necessarily protect them. The guys I played I considered around my skill in dm, could be different at much higher levels. Thoughts? Were they just doing it wrong?

I totally agree with using some stickies in DM/MGE. I feel totally naked not using stickies and I'm honestly at a huge disadvantage. Last night due to some made up Demo guilt I tried to use only pipes against a scout in MGE. His 6 shot scattergun plus 12 pistol shots versus my 4 Pipes and a lot of running.

Just isn't fair considering I damage myself at close range and he does not. Today I played DM mod, pipes only felt a little more fair, but still soldiers are bombing and you still get double teamed by scouts, today it was sal and enigma. They aren't doing anything wrong, but I would try to use 1 sticky at most as not to feel "op" and try to even the odds. Of course all 8 stickies plus 4 pipes would still get me shit on by those two, but you get my drift. It's not how demos DM at certain ranges. At the same time, traps are retarded as well as using all 8 stickies as fast as possible.

Just my 2 cents.

The more I see this map in action, the more I find that pushing with uber advantage is not enough to get the cap. It seems that you have to get kills in order to push or have like a super quick stack cap strat with both scouts on it. Whenever I see teams, mine included trying to just push on a huge uber advantage, it seems like the defending team has the easiest time in the world of kiting the uber. From being able to run upper and rotate through the other side or rotating through spawn, it seems to just shit on an uber. Discuss?
