Any other comp TF2 players in AZ?
Hey there! You might want to make a thread here instead. The UGC forums are going to be more highlander focused, while LFT threads on TFTV are typically for the 6s scene.
Pretty sad to hear about this. It seems to be a miscommunication from what I can tell, but it definitely could have been handled better
Any hope that this HUD might get updated to the newest version?
Are you on a wired connection? Might just have been my luck, but my roommates watch netflix 24/7 and the ping spikes dramatically improved if not just became a rare occasion when I switched to an outlet connection. Given you may need decent speeds to handle the rampant downloading
Any idea as to when the big DESERTBASH is going to be? I'd love to go this year and it would be great to see more TF2 presence there
I still can't believe it, this is honestly the last thing I expected today. Absolutely incredible.
Definitely enjoying it so far, though I'm a bit lost on what to do. Note to those playing online, don't skip the tutorial. It ends up blocking you from doing several things including inviting/directly joining off friends until you do it.
There's a lot of advice in this thread, so I'll just leave a couple of things. First of all, know that although sometimes it feels like everyone around you is doing well and it's just you having a tough time, it's not. There are soo many people struggling with motivation or anxiety when it comes to school, so don't worry, you aren't alone! Put yourself in a position to succeed. You're going to find creating good habits can be difficult if you're constantly at your gaming computer or just in your room. Once you get some consistancy going, it's going to seem so much easier for you. If you need to scale back on gaming or whatever or move away from your computer, just do it. Cutting distractions or taking a break completely can be very good for you. Create a good work environment by making one of your free blocks your consistant study time, maybe bring a friend or group along. Get on a good sleep schedule, your body will thank you. College is a huge commitment, and you're going to have to really want it. There really isn't a shortcut to motivation aside from just jumping in and doing it, knowing you want that end result. But most importantly, don't beat the shit out of yourself for not meeting your expectations. It's really hard getting out of a drag, but you can do it! And I'm sure you'll feel amazing when things begin to turn around.
Sorry for the block of text, I'm on mobile. I hope I helps a bit though.. You've got a lot of support behind you, don't forget!
I was majoring in computer/electrical engineering, but I have no clue what to do anymore D:
People are saying that Arizona could be in the same bracket as Wisconsin again. That could be really exciting!!
I'm also really happy to see how N Iowa is doing this year, although I'm not sure how big of a contender they'll be.
I have a bad feeling that Snoven, those items, and the event are about to drop off the radar never to be heard from again.
Using what was to be a good cause to scam and play the trust of the TF2 community is a next level scum action
Italian herbs and cheese with ham, lettuce, tomato, black olive, banana peppers, mayo. Sometimes roast beef on top of all of that as well. Mmm
Edit: holy hell you guys have good taste in sandwiches! I need to write these down..
That trophy is pretty sick not gonna lie
