#76 London Calling - hurry up in TF2 General Discussion
sallpali believe you and that sucks, but honestly, if you post ok stats no one is gonna blame losses on you, so it sounds like people got mad you were playing pugs out of your skill level and decided to be sexist assholes about it instead of just pointing you to places more suitable. :-P

good to hear upper csgo is more chill towards beginners in pugs tho?

yes! very well said. I definitely realized I didn't belong and it was out of my skill level so I stopped for that reason mainly. But yes they made it about me being a female pretty much every time. Didn't offer any advice either for an incident they noticed in the current game. And yeah so far my experience with csgo is much better. I think they realize that, as I said, people look upto them and want to learn to play like them so I've seen them try to help others too. Not just me. Hopefully other people that try csgo out also experience this as well. Really helps to improve and remain positive.

But really, thanks for being kind to me and posting an actual and respectful response. Not used to that around here haha that's why I tend to be an ass at first :P Long ago I would try to post stuff normally with opinions and people just shit-talked me on these forums sooo I gave up. Appreciate it man.

DeathyMissMonaLisasallpalboys are gross in general don't pretend csgo is somehow better since an invite player told u that u can aim lol
didn't say an invite player told me I can aim. I actually said invite playerS have told me, I've played with several recently. But no not just them, it's people in the game in general or people I meet that do have comp experience. They give it to me straight, that when I learn positioning and strats and smokes/nades, I will improve significantly and walk me through stuff or give tips on situations I messed up in. Has nothing to do with boys being gross lol. They're honest but helpful, not rude. I can't count the amount of times people in TF2 told me to stick to medic because that's all girls can be good for, since girls can't aim or play dm classes. How many people complained on my team in pug.na or lobbies about why girls were even allowed to play and I'm the reason we lost. Felt really shitty. Some invite/higher level players in TF2, NOT ALL, think they are better than everyone so they get to shit talk everyone else and disclude them for it, or yell at them for mistakes. It's just this small tight-knit community where outsiders or people that are different aren't welcome and a lot of stuff is based on skill-level.

Honestly, from my like 700 hours in CS:GO, a lot of people in match making are straight up faggots and yell at their teammates for missing shots. Higher level is probably different since you're a "known" personality you can't be a faggot otherwise people are gonna know fast and shit, I guess it's just different from this community. In TF2, there's a lot of trash talk but it's nothing serious compared to what I've seen in CS really.

lol well yeah matchmaking can be awful I agree. Well that's kind of what I mean. Are TF2 higher levels not known personalities? I just figured they should maybe be nicer too since more people will see them being that way or get a worse stigma. I shoulda clarified I meant csgo high level/invite versus the TF2 high level/invite. It's kind of like.. people look upto you and would like tips or help not to feel like shit for not performing well.

i quit tf2 for csgo also and am trying to get to esea level csgo.
seriously the tf2 community is nicer than the cs community by far.

I quit tf2 for csgo and havent run into many douche bags. Infact my team have some of the coolest dudes i ever met on it. Had good friends in tf2 too but csgo community is bigger which means more douche bags but i think the ratio is the same

yeah that's probably true. Like i said in my serious note, not my trolling lol, that in my personal experience they have treated me ten times better, since I am a different case for being a female.

everyone sooo salty.

and btw on a serious note. any time i ever played tf2 with certain people, especially higher level, they were all assholes to me. everyone put me down and belittled me, called me bad, made me feel unwelcome and especially focused on the fact that girls suck at tf2 and shouldn't play. even though I was new to comp and didn't do it ever. I tried pug.na and people were just rude as fuck. I've met a lot of higher level players in csgo and played with invite players and they are the complete opposite. No one puts me down for my gameplay or singles me out or makes me feel different for being a girl. They actually encourage me and tell me I can be really good and have good aim, etc, whatever. They give me tips and try to help me NOT in a condescending way. That might be personal experience, sure, but I'm just pointing it out. They also don't get offended and angry as easily. Even if you guys didn't understand the joke or find it funny, you really didn't need to give your two cents about how its unfunny and rude. I feel like some of you just WAIT to pounce on someone and shit on them verbally. It's sad. Everyone needs to just back up and calm down a bit.

#17 Medic LFT ESEA-O 6s in Recruitment (looking for team)

Olive is one of my favorite people ever. She's not only a ton of fun to play with but when it comes to a competitive setting, she tries really hard and focuses on the game. She's very organized and great with scheduling. If she says she'll be on at a certain time you can count on her being there for sure. She always has a positive attitude during scrims and actually does respond well to any suggestions or constructive criticism. It's funny to see that composed side of her and then go into a pub and see her mess around and talk shit about raping nerds lol ;)

But seriously, I feel that she has never really been given a chance to work with a team and grow with them and improve on her medic abilities in a more difficult setting like esea. This will be her first real esea team if you pick her up so she will obviously have a lot to learn and adapt to, she won't be this amazing medic right off the bat lol, but no one is when they start. she has all the basic concepts down which is a great start for any medic. she is dedicated enough to get there so give her a chance!

#291 insom in TF2 General Discussion
SneakyPolarBearEDIT: shocka, comparing cheating in another competitive online videogame to cheating in another similar game is not that unreasonable. Not saying I agree with toaster (I don't), I just hate to see bad arguments countered by exceptionally terrible ones.

I know a lot of people that have hacked in other games for fun/boredom because they really didn't care about that game and they don't have in other games, especially not TF2. And they are good players. I've watched them play myself in person. Which ironically enough I've watched insom play in person. He sat two seats down from me and I stood behind him as he played and did just as well as ever. My friend nevdawg sat next to him and also watched him play. That's not even the point though. It's really stupid to assume someone that hacks in a game does it in others. The only solution to find that out is to take the time to go review his demos with a wallhack enabled to see if hes walling, and for other hacks. Saying you guys are too "lazy" to watch his demos isn't a good excuse. If you're so convinced he's hacking in TF2 you should take the time to prove it, not go off an assumption that has no basis. It's not a bad counter-argument. it just means get your information right, and gather facts before you jump to the conclusion that he's hacking in TF2. Sure some people said that he isn't hacking in TF2, but not everyone here is convinced, and they don't have good reason for it. It still stands that he's banned from pug.na and other places for awhile when he didn't do anything wrong in TF2 and someone needs to fix that. We all could if we wanted to. He doesn't deserve the bans for TF2 and that should be changed.

#3 New (low) open team LF Demo and Roamer in Recruitment (looking for team)

haha yeah i know. his team fell apart and he wasn't successful in finding another good match so he gave up and since we're BEST FRIENDS he agreed to join this one :P

but for those of you that don't know heep, he's amazing at tf2 (and as a person) so we're lucky to have him.

#1 New (low) open team LF Demo and Roamer in Recruitment (looking for team)

So me and a few of my buddies are looking for a demo and roamer for a new open team.

We have never played together as a team so realistically we're not going to be very good haha. But we are fun people and just wanna try out open and get some comp experience and enjoy it.

This isn't for sure but most likely our lineup is going to be like this

Medic: Olive (formerly known as prosperity)
Pocket: Fac
Demo: HeepHop
Roamer:
Scout: Nevdawg
Scout: Me (MissMonaLisa)

Anyways just add me on steam if you're interested! I know its very short notice.
