didn't say an invite player told me I can aim. I actually said invite playerS have told me, I've played with several recently. But no not just them, it's people in the game in general or people I meet that do have comp experience. They give it to me straight, that when I learn positioning and strats and smokes/nades, I will improve significantly and walk me through stuff or give tips on situations I messed up in. Has nothing to do with boys being gross lol. They're honest but helpful, not rude. I can't count the amount of times people in TF2 told me to stick to medic because that's all girls can be good for, since girls can't aim or play dm classes. How many people complained on my team in pug.na or lobbies about why girls were even allowed to play and I'm the reason we lost. Felt really shitty. Some invite/higher level players in TF2, NOT ALL, think they are better than everyone so they get to shit talk everyone else and disclude them for it, or yell at them for mistakes. It's just this small tight-knit community where outsiders or people that are different aren't welcome and a lot of stuff is based on skill-level.

Honestly, from my like 700 hours in CS:GO, a lot of people in match making are straight up faggots and yell at their teammates for missing shots. Higher level is probably different since you're a "known" personality you can't be a faggot otherwise people are gonna know fast and shit, I guess it's just different from this community. In TF2, there's a lot of trash talk but it's nothing serious compared to what I've seen in CS really.

lol well yeah matchmaking can be awful I agree. Well that's kind of what I mean. Are TF2 higher levels not known personalities? I just figured they should maybe be nicer too since more people will see them being that way or get a worse stigma. I shoulda clarified I meant csgo high level/invite versus the TF2 high level/invite. It's kind of like.. people look upto you and would like tips or help not to feel like shit for not performing well.

i believe you and that sucks, but honestly, if you post ok stats no one is gonna blame losses on you, so it sounds like people got mad you were playing pugs out of your skill level and decided to be sexist assholes about it instead of just pointing you to places more suitable. :-P

good to hear upper csgo is more chill towards beginners in pugs tho?

yes! very well said. I definitely realized I didn't belong and it was out of my skill level so I stopped for that reason mainly. But yes they made it about me being a female pretty much every time. Didn't offer any advice either for an incident they noticed in the current game. And yeah so far my experience with csgo is much better. I think they realize that, as I said, people look upto them and want to learn to play like them so I've seen them try to help others too. Not just me. Hopefully other people that try csgo out also experience this as well. Really helps to improve and remain positive.

But really, thanks for being kind to me and posting an actual and respectful response. Not used to that around here haha that's why I tend to be an ass at first :P Long ago I would try to post stuff normally with opinions and people just shit-talked me on these forums sooo I gave up. Appreciate it man.

Damn you cunts managed to derail a thread from power rankings, to fuck london, to "who are you?", to "what game community is better".

Seems like an IRC channel more than actual forum posting.
