#20 will sens look/feel the same if fps is played on its equivalent refresh rate?
ie.
120 fps on 120hz
144 fps on 144hz
im asking bc i feel like its easier snapping onto target with fps_max 132 than fps_max 289 on a 60hz even though im using the same inches/360. can someone explain this phenomenon
will buying a 144hz for fps_max 289 give me that same target snapping but better
wonderlandwi have another question (dont wanna make another thread). i recently changed from fps_max 132 to fps_max 289 and i felt a difference in sensitivity between 132 and 289. is there a physical difference in terms of actual inches/360 when going from degree a to degree b or does it only make it feel "smooth" when tracking between prevoiusly said degrees
raw input is on and i use a 60hz
it will just be more responsive. which may make it feel like a slightly higher sensitivity.
there will not be any physical difference in inches per 360 (unless the game has some really shitty code which is not the case for tf2 unless you use mouse accel)
also hz*2+1 is bullshit.
if you understand how the game interacts with your video card/monitor 289 is just another fps setting, no better than say 300.
so i guess it feels faster bc my mouse is gliding in-between more of those frames?
i just went out and bought a measuring tape and actual inches/360 is the same SeemsGood

whats an ideal fps cap for 144hz? i heard its usually something like "refresh rate*2+1" so 289 but im not sure
man the internet has come a long way
i still have my aol dial-up cd

ive been wondering about the pros/cons between 500hz and 1000hz
like which poll rate is better to use for tracking/flicking?
