#12 All class backup (Div doesn't really matter) in Recruitment (looking for team)

Can't count the number of times he point-blank headshot some poor scout that tried to rush him. Great to talk to in mumble as well.

Compare that first 20 minutes of 0-0 on Process to the 0-0 first half of Mixup v. HRG on Gullywash during ESEA LAN. Night and day.

Rounds capped doesn't necessarily make a game exciting, and lack of rounds is not what made that Gully game deathly boring.

HRG apparently has a bad habit of trying to hold second with like a minute left and totally blowing it.

I just think that seeing people acting this passionately about TF2 is part of what legitimizes our game.

Do people not know what trash talk is? If you're actually bothered by what the crowd said, consider developing a sense of humor.

#270 how do you think australia will do at i49 in TF2 General Discussion

Keep in mind Mixup shit all over HRG 5-0 in the opening map of the ESEA Grand Finals and then lost two maps straight. HRG is beatable.

All the same, I'm really glad this is really going to be a 3 way battle for the title. And well played to IM for taking down HRG in their first meeting.

nerkulLike how Seanbud got the casting rights for i46?

Seanbud covered quite a few matches that would not have been casted otherwise, and was constantly telling people not to watch his stream unless they had VTV's open as well. Hopefully, VTV realizes this time around that if they have extensive dead air time, people are going to tune in elsewhere.

#168 ESEA Quick Fix Ruling in TF2 General Discussion

The gun has just had a garbage development cycle. The biggest issue with it was ALWAYS the lack of overheal, but instead of considering that, Valve introduced it with a list of gimmicks, with the run speed and lack of knockback. When it was still crap, they added another gimmick with the explosive jumping. When it was still crap, and they finally fixed the real issue with it, all the gimmicks came along. Not all of them are needed for the gun to remain viable.

The combination of Kritzkrieg timing but not needing to build it is also totally broken. I'd say you can have +25% Ubercharge rate, or you can have never needing to build. You can't have both.

#62 ESEA League S15 - EU TF2, MAIN DIVISION $90k+ in Prizes in News

If I was in EU Open, I wouldn't really be that concerned about going up against prem teams more than maybe once. With the way scheduling works, the best teams will rise to the top and be forced to play each other, and the lower div teams will end up playing each other as well.

Granted, none of them have any chance of winning, but I'd put up with it for a season if it meant possibly getting an EU Invite and maybe IM the season after this.

Niko_JimsSo they played smart and won?

Why is everybody angry over that?

Yeah, while I wish that they had truly fought it out to end the game, this is usually what I come back to. If it's in the game, and it's effective, there's no reason not to use it. I got the same kind of feeling during the Navi fountain hook game. While they probably wouldn't have won with just about any other line-up, they picked a line-up with the Chen/Pudge combo. You have to do what you can in order to win.

Kind of disappointed to see the game end basically without a fight though.

Let's hope this goes 5 games. Crazy back and forth series so far.

Edit: Looking like I'll get my wish.

Jesus June, slow your roll. I never said anything about Navi earning it. I said Orange didn't manage to follow through to the end. What Navi DID do is punish them for a bonehead mistake. Have you never taken a round off of a pick on an over-extended player? Did you stop and tell yourself, "Man, we should really just forfeit because we didn't earn that round, they gave it to us." No, you take what the other team gives you.

You are somehow pissed at Navi because Ky.xy fucked up. I give you a 9.75 for a slight step on the dismount and issues with reading comprehension.
