Morrowind is far and away my favorite game of all time. It had a sense of exploration and danger that Oblivion and Skyrim never had because of the way the world levels with you in those two recent games. In Morrowind, fast travel was extremely limited, and if you accidentally found yourself wandering into the wrong area at the wrong time, you got fucked, or had to struggle to live in a way that matched the environment. The world was much more alive in that respect than in either of the Elder Scrolls games that followed it. I really wish modern RPGs hadn't become so spoon-fed to the player, which is probably why I enjoyed Dark Souls so much.

A lot of the time the scout will get the kill simply because his weapon fires shots faster. If it takes two shots minimum for either class to take down the other, doesn't the scout have advantage simply because he (in a vacuum) always gets the first opportunity to secure the kill?
The Spurs weren't going to get more than one chance against this Heat team, and they choked away a 5 point lead with 20 seconds left in Game 6. You can't fuck that up and expect to be champions.
Look out everyone, Wreath reads /r/seduction. We're all gonna get our hearts broke.
The ultimate clip for this is the one from the S10 LAN when Relic airshot Mackey on Warmfront mid. The camera was Mackey's POV as he gets popped up into the skybox, looking down at relic as this rocket comes chasing after him. Mackey hits the skybox roof and the rocket connects. It was so epic.

eXtine*unless you auto-loan weapons during lobbies and everything is available.
I seriously question Valve's willingness to implement this model not only because of the time to code in that behavior but also because it undermines the unlock model entirely. Why would I ever buy a weapon from the Mann Co. store when everything is available to me for free in the game mode where it actually matters? I understand that the temporary loaning system already exists on a much smaller level, but if everything is 100% blanket available, the player has no incentive to build their own unlock collection through crafting or purchasing.
They're encouraging us to test this game mode so that comp play can actually engage the entire player base and make them some money. I get that we're trying to keep as many doors open as possible while testing out the new format and the pick/ban process, but I really think people need to move on from the idea of banning stock. It's just not going to happen.
Okay, let's say I just picked up TF2 because one of my friends told me it was a cool game, and free to play to boot. I load into the game and want to play this lovely tournament mode because I used to play CS and think I can handle myself aim-wise. I join up and pick scout and...well shit, all my available weapons are banned.
You can't ever ban stock weapons because for some players, they are the only ones available.
My major issue with Comcast is that starting last month I can no longer watch live streams on Twitch.tv in anything higher than 360p, and even that has stuttering sometimes. Running a tracert to the Twitch servers always ends with it timing out somewhere along the line. Previously, I could watch 720p+ with no issues.
Pocket soldiers getting the most massive shaft of all.
ToastyTHTUmm... No duh? I don't think anyone wanted to ban stocks, and valve is not stupid, plus doesn't want to screw over new players.
ButtnoseSome of the basic possible outlining rules:
*Stock weapons always allowed?
The question was asked.
Stock weapons have to be allowed at all times or else a new player has nothing to play with if something gets banned.
I like how several months ago some guy on Reddit posted his vision of what the Xbox should be called and how it should be marketed, and it was a million times better than what Microsoft's whole marketing team managed. It was so well done that many gaming sites reported it as fact.

Hire that guy and fire everyone who thought "One" was a good idea.
As far as the features go, their desire to put everything but games first is unsurprising, largely because the idea of "gamers" as a subculture is headed out the door. Everyone plays video games now. The average "serious" console gamer is going to buy an Xbox, and they know that. In order to move units, they want to attract the guy that plays Halo occasionally, but watches NFL every Sunday. They want the families that were swarming to buy Wii's because they thought it would be great for their kids. And so on.
Gaming as a whole has become so big that people you'd consider to be serious gamers have been marginalized. That's what happens when you go from subculture to pop culture.
I've been looking at the 2013 BRZ and the WRX. But then I saw the pictures of the 2014 WRX, and now I'm probably gonna wait for that.
