Just a few tips
[*] Set the SATA mode in your BIOS/UEFI to AHCI (_not_ IDE) before continuing.
[*] In the BIOS/UEFI make sure the SSD has higher boot priority than the HDD
[*] Unplug your HDD before installing Windows on your SSD and plug it back in when Windows is successfully installed.
[*] To remove Windows from your HDD just delete the Windows folder (there's no official way to do this AFAIK, your user data and programs will still be there)
[*] Any programs installed on your HDD _should_ work in the majority of cases if you open the executable. You may want to reinstall them to the same directory so you get short-cuts/get them appear in the start menu.
[*] You can set the location of each of your folders in your users directory on the SSD to your User's folder from your old installation on your HDD to get your data seamlessly back and save space.
http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-move-windows-7-personal-folders-my-documents-another-drive.htm
[*] Make special note of your Drive letter for the HDD and SSD, you don't have to worry too much about space with a 250GB SSD but be concious of where you install programs and save files.
[*] Consider looking at SSD optimizations once your data is secured.
Hope that helps, and isn't too confusing.
That is some funky HudDamageIndicator right there
rock-linux is for tards

Just reposting a movement overview video guide to newer players that was posted on the reflex fps forums. Even if you are familiar with the movement mechanics of quake/cpm/whatever he does go into some more reflex specific mechanics towards the end.
Also all tf2 players are familiar with rocket jumping mechanics :D
The most relevant info about the LG 24GM77 i could find was this post
http://www.overclock.net/t/1520849/lg-24gm77-vs-benq-xl2411z#post_23085539
It seems to be in direct competition with the BenQ XL2411Z. At that discounted price though the LG looks super tempting.
Gone to reilly's roommate :)
I have a OnePlus One invite and currently don't really have the money to buy one at the moment.
Therefore I am giving it away, send me a message to claim the link to the URL. If you want to give a small amount of money to my paypal or a cool TF2 item as a sign of appreciation I'm not against that.
The invite will expire in ~22 hours. Only claim if you can actually buy the device immediately.
I'm not posting the URL directly since there's a chance a bot may pick it up.
edit: You can only buy it if you live in one of these countries: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States
You should add the Asus PG278Q 144hz 1440p G-SYNC monitor to the OP. Although it's massively over priced due to the G-SYNC module reviews look promising.
Has anyone tried the Asus PG278Q yet? Please give feedback.
Frost_BiteNinjaDCwow, the finals are muted in the vod. 10/10IIRC the files from the streamer's computer are still a thing and are what actually gets uploaded to YT.
yes, but it'll probably take a least a week for production to sort through the vods and upload them to youtube if previous ESEA LANs are anything to go by. Hopefully, STVs will be released sooner.
wow, the finals are muted in the vod. 10/10
Overall, gaming on linux is pretty good overall. My biggest gripe was that I couldn't turn off mouse accel at an hardware level on my G400. Yes, you can turn accel off using xinput that is, IF you turn off m_rawinput. However, there was a noticeable latency input increase from turning off rawinput so being unable to match my sensitivity as close as I could to windows was a the second biggest deal breaker.
The biggest dealbreaker was that AMD proprietary GPU drivers sucks, especially the 2D performance. The open source AMD drivers should be generally OK for source games as the minimum fps won't be much lower but maximum FPS will be a lot higher with proprietary drivers.
edit: i5-2500k @4.5Ghz and AMD R270X for clarity.
