This is a really weird case.

The kid did it, then after it was over he realized what happened and now he seems really remorseful and upset. At least from what the article says, he doesn't seem to show any of the psychotic tendencies that you would expect. Then again, if he really is a psychopath, this could all be acting.

I wonder if he was on any prescription medication when this happened.

Was taking an English class a few years ago in college and wasn't reading any of the material. End of the semester, there were only about 5 people left in my class who hadn't dropped out already. I figured I was failing since I missed assignments, never read any of the books (fucking English classes always choose the worst books to read) and hadn't studied for the final. I figured I would just stop showing up, not take the final, and get the F that I was destined for.

When the grades for that semester came back I got a C in the class.

Few years later I was taking a networking class just for the heck of it. The teacher said that in order to move on to the next class there was a practical test thing we had to take. I wasn't planning on taking the more advanced classes, so I skipped it. When grades came out I had an F because I didn't take the test. I emailed the teacher about it a few months (yes, MONTHS) later about it and he sent me the test that I could take myself and send back. I got about 1/3 of the way through it when I got stuck, gave up, and sent it back. When the revised grades came out I got another C.
