you're the pushy one pal. You are coming off as an asshat. Be polite about it, stop sounding so frantic and maybe someone will help you.

i'd say get a new gpu because the 460 sucks balls now-a-days. the 2500k is still a great cpu so i don't think that's your problem. and if anything pick up a good cooler and over clock it
i don't get the issue with the g400 i've had mine for almost 2 years and i have no problems with it. the way i have it set up gives it extra slack when i move it so it's not constantly tugging at it, idk if i didn't i guess it would have issues maybe
AloSechow to imagine the 10th dimension https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ca4miMMaCE
Michio Kaku aliens and the three types of civilization (this one is kinda goofy but its interesting to think about) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0sb6uhCs_U
an interesting story is "the last question" by Isaac Asimov
wow that's really helpful i have a decent understanding of the dimensions that were said to have existed from string theory now.
holy shit michio kaku is the man, listening to him is incredible I wish he was immortal so he could experience what he hypothesizes the world will become.
-danJust my 2 cents, I really love theories about extraterrestrial life.
dude check out the vid alosec linked, you'll love it. I think that if we are able to evolve and travel through space more easily, we can come face to face with life on other planets, but like he said if we are not able to see type 1 civilizations on the distant solar systems from us, then most life has probably already died out or very basic.
Let me preface this by saying i have no degree/experience in astrophysics and i haven't taken a formal class on it but I have this friend who reminded me how much i love it and care about it.
I just want to hear some discussion on modern astrophysics, whether it be theories, practical tests for said theories, etc. I realize tf.tv isn't a great place to discuss this and I can easily go look for a physics forum but I want to bring this up in case anyone who is into this wants to discuss it.
My mind was blown by string theory, theories of a multiverse, etc. from watching ted talks videos linked below
http://www.ted.com/talks/brian_greene_why_is_our_universe_fine_tuned_for_life?language=en
http://www.ted.com/talks/brian_greene_on_string_theory
It also interests me because this is what we find ourselves in, this universe/multi-verse that has these laws that we cannot change and I want to learn more about it because I'd feel like a dumb piece of meat if i didn't know more about the thing that gave us this life and intelligence.
ALSO NO RELIGION DEBATES MOTHERFUCKERS SCIENCE ONLY
toaster you shouldn't make a thread on how to get better dude. Just play it (on a team) and review what you did wrong or what you can improve. And when you get to the point where you don't know what you did wrong or can improve, get a mentor or someone to do a demo review of your play. You don't deserve all the shit you get sometimes, but take my advice and be more personal about this shit, tf.tv is a nasty place and you will have people like mason fuck with you.
english, turkish, karachay, bit of spanish
my family is of karachay origin (not many people know of the people, they are a republic in Russia) and a lot of them moved to turkey so i was born there, then i moved to the states at 4 so i learned english primarily but still know the other languages fluently(minus spanish i took 3 years of it and I doubt that counts but I can understand people 50% of the time if i overhear them speaking spanish)
i got into tf2 a little before i46 and i think i46 seriously influenced me to play the game this long. It gave me this sense of excitement that there was this much passion and emotion in an fps. this was my first comp fps game.
I remember when i first came into newbie mixes and was amazed by all the new things that i was learning about this fascinating game and i met people around me that also took that liking.
damn i love this game.
same as #10 I'm taking all the CS courses my school has to offer minus the really basic and boring ones. I just like the idea of creativity in some areas of the study
Does anyone have any plans on organizing one? I'm sure the demand is there and it'll be a cool little event that we can throw now that gxl is over and people have downtime. it could be a key to get in or something. I really liked last year's one just putting the idea out there (damein)
Hey we need a scout for the upcoming esea/cevo season and we'd like someone who is able to scrim 3-4 times a week. Someone who has a sense of humor, has experience, and can work together well with the rest of the team.
We're about mid-o and want to stick together for the next few seasons our roster is:
scout - eerie
scout - you
roamer - market
demo - blazey
pocket - me
med - Griffon
Hmu for tryouts
