Same as other stated before me, despite the season being weak overall, I feel this episode fits well as a "finale".

Those saying nothing has changed are being a bit harsh I think, the sole fact that kings will now be elected is an actual big game changer in the long run. Obviously we cant see it in this episode cause not nearly enough time has passed but on paper, it means that the ruling family will plot less for the weel being of their kin, and more for the good of the realm. That's an ideal scenario of course.

The only thing that really bothers me is Jon going back to the Night's Watch. There shouldnt be a need for it anymore, as now the relationship with the wildlings is supposedly better. Being sent to the Wall is basically "go be bored your whole life".
I guess this too can be changed in the near future, as at the moment of the show people are still stuck in their old way of seeing the world.

Arya going to the West is a potential seed for a spin-off Im guessing.

A lot of plot flaws, too many to list them.
At this point im just waiting for the next episode, finishing the show and then moving on.

One upside tho, I found the visually really good, loads of good shots, so at least not everything is to throw away

Regardless of the quality (or lack of) of the episode, I found it hilarious the writers are getting so much shit on the internet because they "killed one of the only black characters in the show". This is getting ridiculous.

She just sneaked through multiple wights in the library thing, bamboozled the White Walkers and assassinated the Night King, what else do you need ?

No wonder a tactical genius such as Eemes would highlight the crucial flaws in the strategy !

I dont actually know how to feel about the episode overall.
Like Stark mentionned, really disappointed that we get no explanation as to why the WW do what they do. Maybe we'll learn it in the coming episodes, but they Night King seemed too smart to me to just be plain evil without actual purpose.
The big tactical flaws were also really bugging me, as other mentionned before me (the crypt being safe, the Dothraki charge).

The death of the Night King is actually pretty fitting in my eyes. When you think about it, there was no "fair way" for the livings to defeat the deads, and if we know this, then so does the NK. His last scene makes sense, he thinks he has won so why hurry ? It's a common evil mistake but if we allow it in other creations, why not here.
As to why Arya was allowed to get this close, in that moment everyone thinks it's over, so the WW most likely have their guard down, and thus can just be surprised/taken aback by Arya appearing (she learnt how to move discretely). Now is the NK actually gone, i have no clue. I wonder if the mark he left on Bran doesnt work as some sort of Horcruxe, Harry Potter style.

A main character death would have made sense on a realistic standpoint (honestly Brienne or Jaime should have died), but there is still 4 more episodes. Let's just hope we're not going toward a lame happy ending.

The biggest of the shoutout to the production crew. I was lucky enough to both compete in the tournament and be a part of the analyst deck, and both were so formidable, mainly because of the quality of the production. As a player, no delay whatsoever regarding servers or anything, I honestly think this is a world premiere. As the analyst, so comfortable, legit only had to walk up to the desk and do the talking, everything was so smooth and clean. Casters and analysts take all the lights when it comes to production, but it can never be overstated how the job done by the production is tremendous. LAN wouldnt be what it is without them, proper mad respect.

Apart from that, without going into details, much love to everyone one. CPH feels so much better than Insomnia (i think the fact that we're all stacked up in one part of the venue plays a HUGE role in that, no need to wander around the place to found players). Coming to lan is always such a warm feeling, and only thing i can do now is to wait for next one. Thanks a bunch.

The only thing I really agree with is how long playoffs take to be played, but that could be fixed by giving teams a shorter time frame. Right now playoffs goes from March 17 – April 7th. That's three weeks, and make teams treat playoffs as regular season games, playing one playoff a week.
I'm aware my team is one of the culprits here, but I think this is the main issue atm. Even shortening it by a week would make for a much more dynamic system.
