flatlinehonestly the cow mangler is like the slightest direct upgrade in the entire game, not worth banning it imo even though if you look at the straight stats it is a direct upgrade
Isn't the first reload slower?

Excuse my skepticism but why would Valve give two hoots about this and supply you with medals, as opposed to Razer's arena tourneys or anything remotely more established?
You linked the prize and a group (which honestly from experience is just the lack of having more tools available). Wouldn't it be easier fo teams to sign up with a form? Any kind of organized list? Are you confident you'll be able to somehow convince Valve because you got (essentially limited worth) items to give away?
Why isn't the donor in here himself? Do you have casting in place, production? Is it gonna be played in the dark for the sake of the prize by top players? TF2 kicked up the level of organization and production a few miles as of late, which makes this sound like a storm in a bottle so far.
It'd be fun to see a tournament with actual item rewards for once, as opposed to big leagues and money, but so far it seems shady (not that there'd be much to gain).
Ending up in scenarios where one team might as well just leave because they can't win is kinda silly. So too is how it doesn't really matter what the points are beyond a tie and one team being ahead. 7 mins left, 4-1. At that point unless it's a team prone to tilt, it's almost 1/3 the time of a map being wasted.
TwiiKuucapnfapnWhat if we all ask our moms if we can borrow 10 bucks
What about something like Patreon? Small charges every month for a lot of users probably could bring in a lot of money, and then rush it by advertising the heck out of it a month before the event so that outsiders would bring in money as well.
I'd probably stop my twitch subs and drop 10-20 bucks per month.
Throw one up for tf.tv. Find pros to sign shit for free if people give more than $20 a month.
The meta rarely changes, now it did. Officials will argue about it and come to a conclusion for the next insomnia. Saying Crowns didn't deserve it, "playing the rules" or not is fucking stupid. Same with the people who claim they played the long game because it's their forte. Of course people want to win.
Enjoy the lan for what it was, hope Valve took notice, move on. Christ. Compared to all the positive vibes this place has had during the event, this is a shitty road to go down. A coach was allowed, they took advantage and may have won because of it. Argue about coaches in general, stop basing your opinion on a team in specific that just happened to take advantage of it.
Khakitf2 has been out for almost ten years and has received constant updates (which made the game arguably worse I guess) whereas overwatch has been out for a couple months I think?
And so far I've gathered that 1. they plan on removing heroes at some point, 2. sombra xddddd
I swear this game is 80% hype and lore, despite the game itself not being canon. You don't shoot robots. It's a make-believe scenario.
Soldiers can duel over any one thing with a bit of elevation. Medic has very little to do on baloo other than weave in crossbow bolts. Having varied heights with non-rj access would make it a lot more fun.
It'd be interesting to see the middle point be above total ground level but beneath the 'general' height where you'd expect people to be during fight etc. Make it risky to cap.
MadKBut on a serious note, hats off to Jasmine tea and Froyo for putting out amazing games. It's never easy to play in front of away crowd. Here's to hoping for a even crazier final!
I feel like it's a bit justified with all the EU hate b4nny has been throwing, but his tweets got real mature during lan. Wonder why..

do you know if there's a command that disables skins
None. Maybe third-party skins but they won't work on most competitive servers.
What if all teams bring a manager next LAN? Surely it can't be a bad thing to raise the general level of play during what is essentially a best-of-TF2 presentation.
Literally anything with team spirit on. A hat can't look shitty if it extends the team color and silhouette.
DamnEasyWtf how are you so fast
To be fair he could've had all but the last part written up and ready. Or maybe even one in favor of FROYO winning too.
What if.. Kaidus is just a good player? I mean honestly how many teams would benefit from a 7th player yelling instructions? Most if not all structured teams I've played with had internal fights now and then between calls. You'd need a really smart player for everyone to blindly trust his calls.
Whether it's "overpowered" or not comes down to the fact it's Kaidus, not just having a 7th set of eyes.
It's honestly a pretty bland game. 80% of the current hype isn't the next season or changes, it's that fucking spy hero and none of that hype is in the actual game. It's twitter stuff and what not.
Hell the gameplay isn't even canon, so it's weird that lore hypes people this much.
