Not 1/4 of TF2 players post let alone care about what's going on as long as they can post "mid on now" and get to play. It's kinda wicked considering the exact opposite isn't all that uncommon, and we see a ton of people go out of their way to make life easier for these people.

In that way TF2 is great. A lot of other ways, not so much.

It's kinda sad how the bigger TF2 gets, the more shady the involvement of money gets. This is what, second time a team signs up for qualifiers, only to win money and not go? Shouldn't it be a requirement to actually show intentions of going to the fucking event beyond "eh maybe lol"?

Like really, every single DBZ game retells the same story, and other than adding GT characters, they never actually expand into the GT universe cus lolnotcanon. Then XV comes along and wants to be the first big milestone and wrap it all up, and instead of doing that, they're now doing the exact same shit in a sequel?

It even looks the same, what could it add onto the storytelling that the 10 prior games didn't? I've been with the games from budokai 1 but this shit is getting tiresome. Hell, PvP didn't even work in XV for quite a while and people were hacking day 1.

That aside, this is one of the most sour communities I've been part of for a while. The amount of people who do good just for others to have an easier time is both depressing and admirable, but how little realize this is crushing. You may think redditors are opinionated nobodies with nothing but shit to post, but in reality they care more about this game and community than most competitive players do, where joining a discord and posting 'mid on pls now' in the wrong channel is the most community interaction they'll get.

It's really hard to justify why people should (basically volunteer) work for all these events, when Valve could save it in a heartbeat. Do they even know? Do any of them come here, let alone hear any of it from their puppy eyed MM-mascot b4nny?
