I presume that's the one he already knows...
AdmirableI would have no problem with ETF2L threatening to ban people or withhold their prize money if it were written anywhere in the rules and they didn't just see fit to make it up as they go along...
I understand that ESEA don't pay teams that don't go to LAN, but I think that is known up front :D
Quite often problems are the reason for rules being created, it's happened a lot in the past of ETF2L, and it will definitely happen again here. No-one can think of every rule, and even in much bigger events can things go wrong. You can be sure we will do our best to ensure things like this won't happen again. For example we are officially going to add a tiebreaker week specifically for Premiership Playoffs, in case of a tie between the top 4 teams. This will make sure that the dates for the Playoffs do not change, and are listed well in advance for you to plan around and aid scheduling Playoffs at the end of the season.
Also, we never threatened to take or withhold any prize money from either team, someone has literally made that up.
Sideshow says it all pretty well, props.
RyushiAdmirableLooks like this will clash with ETF2L Playoffs :Sthink we will be alright admirable, that game doesnt look like its gonna happen on sunday.

I watch TSE streams for Byte's comms, brightens up my day
After the events of the last few days, and the new league that has been created by Nahanni and CEVO, ETF2L has decided to withdraw it's NA Division, in order for the NA community to fully commit to CEVO and make it as big as of a success as possible. We're a community based league, and the TF2 community is our #1 priority, splitting it up would do more harm than good.
I've heard a few people mention how they didn't like ETF2L instantly coming over to NA 'when it doesn't involve them' and trying to 'steal all the playerbase'. I'd just like to remind everyone that ETF2L is a non-profit community run league, and the reason I offered it to the NA community is because you were not happy with ESEA, and I personally saw ETF2L as the best alternative for you at the time. I didn't come over to try and take all of your money and make me rich.
CEVO working with Nahanni is a great oppotunity as a replacement for ESEA, and I urge you all to give it the support it deserves in order to make it great.
Cheers!
FzeroPermzillaLets get the ball rolling. We're looking for about 4 League Admins to join ETF2L to run the NA Divison.
Please look here and here for what we expect of you and how to apply.
Obviously we're looking for well respected members of the community, who have a desire to help run the league. It doesn't require a huge amount of time, but you're volunteering to help out of your own free time so we would like people dedicated to this to apply.
In other news, the season will most likely run alongside EU 6v6 Season 17, which will start late January/early February.
I'll shoot you an email, but would you us link you to ESEA stats instead of your forums, since there would be more info? If so, before I link it I would like to say that the ban was for saying that people should leave ESEA and go to ETF2L/Cevo
ESEA Link/ETF2L link/Steam Profile would all be nice to know.

ETF2L is a community league, and I see it as the best option if you want to play in one. We can't offer LAN services because it is free to play. It's a community league and it will stay like that, if you want to have a big LAN during every season we simply can't offer that.
ETF2L will not become pay to play.
