Quickies are at their most effective when you're sniping people across the map or 1v1ing scouts. You don't want quickies if you're going to be in a fight that requires you to put out any sustained damage.
1) Probably not very effective, it's like running a pocket with direct hit but the direct hit only has 2 shots in the clip. Even if you hit all your shots you can only kill 1 buffed class per clip, not very practical.
2) Quickies are pretty shit on mids, you don't want to be wasting time reloading you want to be doing the dam dam. If you're ever going to be running quickies you're going to be pushing last. They work well with kritz and allow you to remove stickies from point very cleanly.
Spritethe sticky explosion radius on quickiebombs is what makes it pretty shit aswell
Don't know where this myth is coming from, they have the same radius and have never had different radius.
Honestly I just think crossbow heals too much at close range, that's where the damage is. If it ramped up from healing 25 to healing 150 rather than 75/150 it would remove a lot of it's power while keeping cool mechanics like arrow building and hitting long range arrows.

We heal for 500 in 7 seconds, with pretty close range arrows. I'm not in favour of banning cbow btw, I think people are overreacting for the most part although it does feel pretty retarded a lot of the time.
Building on the idea of a neutral objective at the end of the timer and more control points you could play a 5/7cp hybrid.

So in this picture you would play the 5cp until timer runs out, when it runs out the points you own are locked and the inbetween objective becomes neutral to play over.

In this case the stalemate was between mid and 2nd so the routes between 2nd and mid shut down by means of shutters and stuff leaving only minimal flank routes between them and new routes open up between mid and 2.5 and 2nd and 2.5. Thus creating a mid like fight between teams over a neutral point but still leaving the team that initially capped mid with the advantage of having more points in their favour.
The position of the 2.5 point should be such that it gives advantage pushes both onto 2nd and mid forcing both teams to fight over it or be in a position to lose the point that they own.
This inbetween point could also be used for stalemates on last.

Working exactly the same as it did on 2nd, provides some big advantage push either onto last or out of last if capped. This could even be extrapolated to 9cp with a .5cp between each normal 5cp objective.
Having the .5cps would allow for the clock to be much shorter due to the fact that when it runs out neither team gains or loses an advantage in terms of capture points it just forces a team fight.
This exact same shit happens to me, only when alt tabbing while the game is launching and joining a server. The only way I've found to fix it is to like click around at the bottom of the screen till I click on the tf2 tab then I can click in game again. Best thing to do is just avoid it though.
Was watching something back and a scout got hit to 3hp and was essentially invisible, would be nice to have outlines on the icons so you can more easily keep track of where players are.
